So I can find copies of Home Basic windows 7 for around $80 Aussie. This would probably be slightly cheaper in the US, so really there is no excuse to not be able to upgrade.

Its always surprising to me how devoted some people are to xp. While vista was a flop 7 is spectacular and its been around what, ~4 years now?

Do people just not feel the need to upgrade?

At what point do the developers have to say "Enough is enough! We have to update to some of the newer tech"? If for no other reason than to ensure their game doesent fall behind the capabilities of new games coming to market.

bring it on. and make it an available option that can be turned on and off. I mean, if CCP could do well enough making 2 different textures for each ship after the deployment of Trinity, how bad can it be?
