EVE Online: Retribution 1.1 Issues

EVE Online: Retribution 1.1 has been successfully deployed on February 19, 2013.


EVE Online: Retribution 1.1 introduces new features such as Dueling and Info Panels, Tiericide of Battlecruisers and along with a large number of fixes and little, but helpful improvements. For full details, especially already known issues, please check the patch notes.

This thread is for reporting issues only; for general feedback please use the Retribution 1.1 feedback thread here. When reporting issues, please specify which client you are using (Mac or PC).

Known Issues

Issue: Some users may be experiencing clients freezing and crashing.
Solution: Please see this thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=208010&find=unread

Issue: Tier 3 Battlecuisers and Blockade Runners may not show on some custom overviews.
Solution: We advise people to add them to your custom overviews or use a default overview.


Resolved Issues
  • Invisible T3 textures after the release of Retribution 1.1. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.1
  • Tier 3 Battlecruisers (Tornado, Talos, Naga and Oracle) and Blockade Runners (Crane Prorator, Viator and Prowler) cannot currently be manufactured. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.1
  • Some new corp applications are not appearing in the applications list. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.1
  • DUST characters can be invited to fleets. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.1
  • Some NPCs in distributed sites are warping away after a final trigger NPC has been killed. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.2
  • Some NPCs in distributed sites are warping away after a final trigger NPC has been killed. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.2
  • The ordering of the Top Bounty Hunting Corporations was incorrectly sorted. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.2
  • Dragging and re-centering the solar system map breaks after jumping with the open map. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.2
  • Inventory window opening to ship cargo instead of the desired location (covers multiple scenarios). - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.2
  • When attempting to move a group of items greater than the destination volume no items are moved, instead of the ones that fit. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.3
  • Show route in space not displaying correctly in space in some cases. - Fixed with EVE Online: Retribution 1.1.3

the skin of a character's body (but not head) is semi-transparent on the character creation/re-customization and portrait capture screens.

The Viator states in its description, "Can fit Covert Ops Cloaks and Covert Cynosural Fields". Technically this is not possible as it only has one high slot.

The ship clearly needs two high slots to fulfill its new role as has been commented in the forums before this release.


[EDIT: I guess CCP will propose that a workaround is to already have a capital/super-capital ship available to use its Corporate Hangar to refit with a Covert Cynosural Field to call in the capital/super-capital.]

- Minimizing the solar system entry on the new info panel does sometimes not stay minimized after a jump through a star gate.

- My Item Hangar window, which was only visible when I was docked, now keeps showing me my ship's cargo bay repeatedly (still says "Item Hangar" at the top). Same sh*t, different day... Resetting cache and window positions did not help either.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I am also having the trouble with the legion. I only see the tail of the ship uncloaked, but during cloaking ship i see full out line of what it should be

If you clear the cache, the legion re-appears

I have been having trouble adding more than one lvl of Armor Honeycombing in my skill queue Cry. Yes I have room left in it :D

Edit: The issue goes away after you have finished training lvl I. upon finishing lvl I you can add and save you skill queue with lvl II - III - IV havent tried V since IV takes two days

this sound is now even more louder when docking than it was.

Edit:: seems to do it with the tengu but not with a noctis, not tried any other ships yet.

ship cargo hold is not opening on newly selected ships (needs to be done manually)

IN GAME:
logged in to game in a curse
switched hull to an anathima and opened cargo
curse cargo hold opened, did this several times
manually opened the anathimas hold using the inventory UI

way points on the system backdrops not showing with "show way points in space" selected

finally not Shaw if this is normal but my damnation command links are showing negative (-12.75%) as their bonus haven't been able to form fleet to find out if the negative is applied

The circle that appears when clicking on ones ship in space, disappears and won't show up again after selecting another celestial etc.
Very annoying when one likes using it for directional scanning..

I got to a Starbase (POS) and i open the tower fuel bay or a silo but instead it opens the cargohold of my ship.
Have to open the fuel bay of tower or a silo 2 times to work.

Found two issues so far...

- In game applications to join corp have all been wiped out.
- The new system info/autopilot info box stretched way too far to the right, taking up screen estate needlessly. Previously it was possible to have the capacitor readout on top just next to the system info and still retain functionality of both of them, now the invisible box from both System Name and the Route boxes stretch out and block the tactical, cargo and scanner buttons, or alternatively the far right portion of the shield/armor/hull readout's mouseover.

Corporation applications are broken.

Ignoring the fact that in order to see anything you have to deselect and then reselect 'Unprocessed'; and that even apps put in TODAY do not appear unless you select 'older applications' you cant actually accept them as it says "You have no record of the application".
