Do wormhole dwellers actually have a chance of getting substantial votes?

Yes, we do. Although smaller in number, the WH community tends to stick together when the occiasion calls for it, since in the end we all suffer the same pains and enjoy most of the same triumphs. In addition, there's great potential in the STV system, so even though I'm pigenholed as "wormhole candidate", I want to again make it clear that just like wormhole space can't exist on its own without the rest of EVE, I won't be sitting on the CSM to only touch WH related issues.

Do w-space proud.

Thank you very much, I plan to do just that.

James is one of the only wormholes candidates running for CSM.

Wormholes require an entirely different lifestyle in EVE, and we really need a representative on the CSM to introduce the issues we have to CCP.

Also, fix POSes.

We love you James.

Though I do hope beneficial changes will come our way.
My main hope is James fighting the implamentation of game mechanics that will cripple us (wh dwellers).

Thank you for the promotion.Big smile

I've gotten some new blog posts up here, and have been very excited seeing the new starting to come out about EVE Online: Dozens.

Waiting to see a candidate wave his email saying that they're over 200 endorsements, although I think I got enough in my first sweep I won't know until I know.

Hello,

i would like to mention that i will vote for you on this CSM.

I am an ex wormhole dweller. Been living there for 1 year before i left.

But i vote for you because you are the best match 71% on the rest of the issues in eve.

So yeah, i will vote for the other non WH related stuff. Make sure you don't forget about the rest even if you do live out of the WH.

Good Luck!

Ok my man you were straight up about your agenda let me be straight up with my question no troll: do you intend to merely be like the w-space watchdog making sure no changes pisses in your cheerios or are you gonna look at the bigger picture.
How W-Space activities interact with high/low/nullsec?

I'm not a w-space veteran but I recently put a alt into a corp (C5) and am enjoying the activities quite a bit in the offtime. I also do a wide variety of activites such as suicidegank freighters, lead fleets that range from 10-160 guys (and get them killed horribly). I've done supercapital hotdrops, POS sieges as a dreadnought pilot, etc. One of my recent freighter ganks that I was involved in involved the destruction of 100 t3 julls, not to brag but it made me think: how long did it take those nerds in teh wormholes to get the gear to make em. Was it all from a c3 or a 5, Was it a mixture. Whatever doesn't matter. http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=16862951

90 Tengus and 10 lokis is pretty much an entire t3 fleet in nullsec or even two if used by a smaller entity (50 man gangs). For Wormholes I'm sure the numbers are alot less but like I said I just got into the wormhole game, I don't know how hard or easy it is to produce those. But I do know where the source is. The materials came from the wormholes, went back out to highsec (or through a few holes to get to highsec), got produced and then evaporated in 15 seconds.

Hows that for a relationship between w-space and the rest of eve? How do you see that relationship as of right now and if there are changes to be made what do you think they should be as the game gets updated and unscrewed? Thanks for your time, you'll get one of my 3 votes that I'm not giving to a random goonfleet dude cause I'm told to vote for him. Peace.

Thank you both very much. I've spent my time in k space as well as wspace, and didn't just straight into C5 space, but put my time in daytripping, then living in C2 space before I could bring my corp into high class wspace. We wouldn't be here without that experience, and I won't forget that.

We need you. Not just "it's nice that there's highsec too", but straight up need. A big part of what makes EVE so great is the amount of depth we have, and it's in our best interest to make sure that other people are interested in their respective playstyles, so that at some point down the road we can run into each other and make explosions or alliances or business deals or whatever it ends up being. K space needs us in the way, to keep the universe big, and to prevent it from getting stale.

If that relationship changes, I'd to see a bit more interdependance. Right now, we send T3 mats to market, and that's about the only thing k space folks want from us. For a very few people, wspace also provides shortcuts, but the barriers to understanding how those shortcuts work are arbitrary and should be eliminated. If a WH is going to last more than four hours, it should say that, rather than "less than a day." I'd like to see more people using wspace as a means to transit, or daytripping for a depleteable resource, or something else to get them in there, and a reason for us to want to let them in.

At this time I would like to ask the candidates to think carefully about any endorsements that they give.

By putting other candidates on your ballot you are effectively giving them any excess votes you may have if you become elected or all of your votes if you are knocked out of the election.

So the choice of who you endorse and in what order you endorse them on your proposed ballot is very important.

Remember that these people are voting for you and a lot of people will rely on your proposed ballot.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Hey James - congrats on getting there. (yes I voted for you).

I know you well enough that you aren't the type that will just exclude other space's concerns for your own and I also recall the ... "more than mild" annoyance you expressed in that POS prioritization thread a while back. (something about "if I have to, I'll run for the CSM to see these get fixed..." type stuff) *snicker*

I like how you are able to explain complex and convoluted topics to people. That's a handy thing. (not many have the patience to go over details on wormholes with "what's wrong with mixing guns?" type newbies but I've seen you do that with impromptu lectures on the subject with uni.

You came out of highsec to build a WH corp. You regularly raid low and nullsec and both use and kill capitals while operating there. It's a nice mix of PvE and PvP with a good spread across all but SOV lands.

I think you'll make a good CSM rep.

OH MY GOD, YOU'RE A TWO STEP ALT!

Nah, but seriously, thanks for putting me at the top of your billing. It's been fantastic listening to, meeting, and talking with all the candidates I've listed. I'm confident that they would all make fantastic CSM members.

Thank you very much. I really don't have much more to say, I'm so grateful for the support I've gotten during this campaign. After all, I'm not running just to get a pretty title for myself. If it wasn't for you folks, I wouldn't be running at all.
