According to some people, it's all about blobbing. A large enough blob of moroes should at some point volley a slowcat no?

What are you smoking? Moros is highest dps of them all. Nag and 'phenix' as you call it, are terrible in the damage department vs anything but stationary control towers.

Really, you don't say. Funny, that's not what they're really used for anymore. Dreads are for sub-capital blapping, and killing off supers.

Moros can hit (speaking from personal testing on live server) a curse orbiting at 20km with webs and tps (from a single ship) on it just fine. Can hit Most battleships pretty easily too.

Doesn't need to be that big even. With a 4.8~ second RoF, the slow cycle time of capital remote armor reps, and general speeds capitals lock eachother up to rep, 15 or so moros' would do in a slowcat with ease (~750k volley damage, 4.8 second RoF = in serious trouble before the first set of reps lands). 15 is managable my many smaller groups, so for some larger entity, yea, 50-60 would easily 1 volley slowcats faster than they could lock them up.
