How many stations are there in continuous High Sec in EvE?

Just a quick quiestion, hoping for a quick answer :)

How many stations are there in EvE that are in empire space / reachable through high sec routes?

2995 stations in empire (high sec systems only).

Would be much harder to calculate those which are only reachable through high sec routes.

Unrelated, but number of systems in each type of space:

High sec: 1090
Low sec: 817
0.0: 3524 (of which 230 are not connected)
W-space: 2499

Highsec averages ~3 stations per system, seems reasonable.

I didn't use a website, I interrogated the API.

The raw data comes from the EVE Toolkit, provided by CCP for us.
