Good evening gentlemen.
Tonight I finally had it with my carebear lifestyle and mission running. I may perhaps be posting this thread in the wrong area but I have given up trying to play in a manner contrary to my gaming personality. I have only been in EVE about 4 months but I'm honestly bored to tears with toeing the line and not making my CEO mad.
So I bought a half dozen Thrashers and T2 arty and set out for Agile to gank anyone. I'm not using an alt or trying to bend the 'rules' here. After myfailed attempt to destroy a Sigil, Concord justly pasted me at my gate camp. I came so close to finishing off my victim with the alpha (and only) strike but it was not to be. So, what I want to k ow is, how do you the experts perform a proper solo gank in a destroyer? I would appreciate any tips you may have as I embark on my life of crime. In the short time ive been in EVE this was the most fun I have had! I would also be grateful for advice on preferred hunting spots in high sec you may know of. After reading Jame's 315's manifesto I now feel that high sec space needs more fun! I'm willing to do my small part to make it so.
Thank you all in advance for any advice you can give me to facilitate my descent into crime.

Come join us, extra firepower is always welcome in the minerbumping community, chat with the guys who gank exhumers everyday, chat with some of the guys who specialise in ganking freighters and other ships that carry way too much isk in cargo. We're pretty friendly, and knowledgeable, within the realm of what we do, but we will shoot you in the face outside of it.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Posting in another minerbumping is spreading like wildfire thread, started by a minerbumper alt.

Why must they all be alts? It is growing, more and more people appear each day wanting in on it, I'm happy to admit I'm involved in it, the OP as far as I'm aware is not, yet.

I do not have any alts if that is what you are implying. I only play one character and let the consequences be dammed. That is the joy of playing a game afterall. Anyone who says I do have an alt is very mistaken. I was told on day 1 in EVE to not open a second account as a false front. I didn't havLole the cash anyway!

It is blaphemy to refer to the word of the Savior Of Highsec as a manifesto. May a thousand sandfleas infest your armpits.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Unsuccessful, I may not be as well versed in his writings as you seem to be. But he has himself referred to his works as a 'manifest' that is free to borrow and carry throughout high sec. I am merely taking up the cause and wanting to make a contribution however small it may be to help out.

To OP:

Don't forget to show up at your next corp mining op to enforce the Code. If you are going to ditch the whole hisec miner meme, ditch it with style........

Plus, you'll get valuable experience in blowing up mining ships/industrials with your Thrasher..:)

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

You want to know what immorality in EVE Online looks like? Look no further than Ripard "Jester" Teg.

I love the suggestions about ruining the Corp mining picnic! That is absolute evil genius. Alas they went on incursions and banking battleships isn't my idea of fair in a Thrasher! But I'm on my way and tomorrow. Will be a banner day as I begin my prosecution of one man war against an entire Corp of asshats. I owe them and they will all be hunted and disgraced. Oh yeah ill head to heap too.

I wish you well in your endeavors!

If at any time you wish to join the family of the New Order of Highsec feel free to do so.

The organization is an amazingly fun one with a lot of different people in it. We are all united with the goal of improving Highsec, making it more interesting and making it more interactive. You will learn a lot on how to survive in highsec with a very low security status and how good organization makes a difference.

I would suggest pause at AWOX'ing, as this can have long term implications for your toon, and future prospects. Being a pirate with no-holds-barred approach to non-corp players is always a mainstay of EVE life, but nothing strikes hesitation in a CEO to a new recruit than the potential to sign up a shite lord.

If you must AWOX, recommend doing so with an alt under the approval of your existing CEO -- understanding you are potentially burning that alt's future prospects.

Pirate corps can forgive a lot of asshattery, but there is a special ring of hell reserved for AWOXers IMHO. Karma is a beotch

Anyone who you would want to be your CEO will be fine with it. Ignore the poster above me. We look out for our own much better than the carebears do. Drop me a convo and we'll get you sorted some some entry level assholery.

Good luck and god speed.

What's the backstory leading to that Aeon's death?

I have a lover, her name is EVE. I see her every night and all she asks in return is that I have a pilot's license.

What's the backstory leading to that Aeon's death?

- Shite-lord AWOXes his corp of billions in isk, including 'borrowing' carriers from some folks who trusted him
- Shite-lord applies and joins TEST with an alt using said isk to help fund construction of an Aeon
- TEST learns about his shite-lord status and his plans to stepping-stone through them to PL
- TEST applies pwnage

All of this aside, I would not AWOX the people of my old Corp. They are dull at times but would never deserve as you aptly stated 'asshattery'. I'm taking up crime out of a desire for revenge against asshats. I would like a Rep as being somewhat honorable. Thanks for your guidance and opinions.
