eve universe too small, too big or civil war

English is not my first language so sorry for any errors.
After ten year eve is too small but not in the number of systems, rather in the politics within eve universe.

Nullsec, highsec and lowsec player corps are imitating what the factions in game are doing, a coldwar standoff, hoarde money and resources to get more and bigger weapons.

THis is because when eve first started there were 4 factions at a standoff and player corps where used to explore and recover resources from null. But after ten years fighting has turned into grinding, blob warfare and lack of meaninful pvp.

I propose a change in the political spectrum within the ve universe that might help solve those problems.

* Let players join minor factions. ( this is not FW the laws of concord still apply but you get some incentives for doing it )
( http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Standings maybe with some exceptions and some difference for the pirates and concord for example )

-You need good standings with that faction to be able to join once you joined you get the same standings that the faction you choose

-you get a bounty for every enemy player ship you destroy based in the base hull price and the % between your faction standings and the other player faction standings in regard to yours. (the more your faction hates his, the more % you get from the base hull price)

-you get a discount in station fees and taxes depending on a % based on the standings between your faction and the faction that controls the station.

And maybe let them join faction warfare, ive made another post but went largely ignored maybe it was too long so sorry but here it is anyway https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=204507&find=unread

How about we change the game, and make it Everyone vs Everyone. Itll be a sandbox where anything can happen. Even the economy will be run by players. Players can band together to form corporations, and corps can band together to become alliances...and then even alliances can band together to be coalitions! Itll be glorious! Some areas will have rules, where others will be lawless except for game mechanics. We will have to call it something though...how about Eve.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

indeed it seems like a good idea, but it appears to be some problems with meaninful pvp and viable pvp carers and lots of grinding.

i believe this will give incetives for pvp and small scale warfare, and let players interact and change the universe in wich they are playing.

also it might help nullsec and give them somehting to do and make money feeding of the enemy, an not just slave alts in highsec supporting pvp habits.

i think is more like coldwar type now player corps included, evrybody is at a standoff, and there is no real economical incentive for war, except maybe big strategical tragets like moons, but apart from that is a waiting game for some inner fighting and a collapse.

I sometimes wonder what Eve would be like if highsec turned into low sec. For one people would have to group together to get anything of greatness done. Everything would be really expensive compared to how much you'd be able to reliably make. Fighting would take place all over Eve. yadda yadda yadda wait.. what was this thread about? Pirates versus empire factions would be cool for Fleet warfare... uuh not sure what else to add.

and what i propose i feel it doesnt change the sandbox aspect, it encourages interaction with those dudes down there, so that theyre not just some old crusader type dudes enslaving the poor freedom fighters, with some kind of republic and the chinnesse thrown in the mix.

well it might be fun, but thats not what i propose, if you join the faction you get the standings, the reduced fees and the bounties but you are still under concord law.

well anything, good bad, exploitable...etc.

I agree, eve is dying.

it stagnated but is because of the enviroment, im not proposing a themepark, but some kind of political background.

i mean even you as a person are subjected to the political background in wich you live.

And eve has outgrwon its background.

I think we should give all sides lots of doomsday weapons, not tell them that the other side has gotten them, keep the potential spies out of the game subtlely where they get some connection error and watch what happens. Twisted

Take CONCORD out of High Sec for a few days and that's EXACTLY what you'd get. Pirate

it will be hordes of barbarians from null and low, plunging and pillaging, while allied to each other. IF you remove concord for a few days.
