Manufacturing profit best item

Hey,

I am now about 4 hour's searching for an item where I have a reasonable profit. I downloaded EVEHQ and browsed trough many many blueprints (tech 1). I am now very tired because I can't find any bp where I have a profit. I have industry 5 and production efficiency 4. I will start manufacturing with level 5 so I set both to 5 in EVEHQ.

It seems that there is always a loss so does anybody know a good tech 1 item to manufacture?

Thanks in advance

I'm afraid no-one's going to tell you 'Make this'.

Because they'll be too busy doing it themselves, and they don't want the competition.

What I'd recommend doing is looking at what modules are popular and going from there. Look at the T1 versions of T2 modules. You'll get people who just want to buy the base items because the margin is smaller than the T2 version, so you can get a profit there.

If you want to look at the numbers quickly, try, for example, using the blueprint calculator on my site. You may wish to buy researched BPOs from contract, as that can make a significant difference in the margin.

Thanks, I gues I will start again (with your blueprint calculator) :P

Try EVE Isk per Hour

That one will tell you which T1 items make profit. For example if you would build T2 ships and see that there is not much profit, but if you look at the component BPOs for those T2 Ships then some have 5% profit and others have 30%. Now some 30% items build rly slow so the isk/h might be the same as with those 5% items that build rly fast.

Maybe try this "Quantum Microprocessor". It has a profit of 13% and needs 1 min to build 1. To calculate it:
- 13% = 5.190 isk
- 60min = 60*5.190 isk
- A profit of 311.400 isk/h per 1 production slot

You could also try the Capital variants, but they require SkyHigh skills tho.

It also needs Electronic Engineering 3, Science 5 and Electronics 5 to build and moves fairly slowly (at least in my regional trade hub). It's a T2 component, most T2 manufacturers I know build their components themselves.

Mostly because 300,000 isk an hour is a pretty nice margin, and I probably have the skills to make it myself anyway. Blink

You'll need to either research any blueprints or buy researched ones off contract to make a reasonable profit.

Let's take EMP M ammo as an example. With Production Efficiency 5 and an unreseached BPO, you make 100 ISK per run. Not worth it. Research the BPO to ME 50 and you make 950 ISK per run profit. (prices based on my local trade hub)

Exactly. The only time I buy T2 components is when I've messed up my calculations and an short a couple for something I'm building and I'm out of moon mats.

well thanks everyone! I found myself a nice item with 800K profit an hour!!!!!!!!!Shocked with only 18 ME.

The only thing is that it is rather expensive, but for that profit I will do a little more mining to get started :P

Just make sure that it sells in good quantities. I know items that theoretically hit 20 million ISK/hour. The catch is that they sell about 5 a week at most.

There are lots of things that Eve Isk per hour will say will make that much isk, but you still have to sell the item. Remember certain items sell high because the volume is low.

SrSpost

Build any of the following with a BP that has a minimum of ME 10
Note: This assumes you get minerals from buy orders in Jita, and offload your merch via Sell orders.

Catalyst
Algos
Thrasher
Corax
Griffin
Slasher
Probe
Incursus
Tristan
Breacher
Heron
Maulus
Venture

All of these ships have a profit margin of at least 13% with the proper BPO and Production Efficiency V.

Merry Manufacturing

Nobody will tell you what they're manufacturing because that would mean they'd lose a share of their profits to you....

Keep in mind the market fluctuates... it mght be 800K/hour today, but it might be 50K/hour next week. Or vice versa.
