You can vote to name the moons on plutorocks.com until noon EST (1700 GMT) on Feb. 25. Write-in ballots are also encouraged.

There are 2 names particular they already have posted for ideas, cerberus, and Erebus. There are also several others, but lets try and get these 2 names voted to number 1 and 2 spots.

Fixed the link for you.

Cerberus is good since it's the three-headed dog who guards the gates to the underworld.

I think the other choice should be Styx since it's the river that separates the Earth from the underworld.

Pluto is not a planet, and therefore, it does not have moons.

"A moon is defined to be a celestial body that makes an orbit around a planet, including the eight major planets, dwarf planets, and minor planets. A moon may also be referred to as a natural satellite, although to differentiate it from other astronomical bodies orbiting another body, e.g. a planet orbiting a star, the term moon is used exclusively to make a reference to a planet’s natural satellite."

from: http://www.universetoday.com/60072/what-is-a-moon/

"Astronomers from the association were given the opportunity to vote on the definition of planets. One version of the definition would have actually boosted the number of planets to 12; Pluto was still a planet, and so were Eris and even Ceres, which had been thought of as the largest asteroid. A different proposal kept the total at 9, defining the planets as just the familiar ones we know without any scientific rationale, and a third would drop the number of planets down to 8, and Pluto would be out of the planet club. But, then… what is Pluto?

In the end, astronomers voted for the controversial decision of demoting Pluto (and Eris) down to the newly created classification of “dwarf planet”. "

TL:DR;

Pluto is not a planet therefore it does not have 'moons'. As it does not have 'moons', there is no reason to name these 'moons'.

Pluto is a dwarf planet and therefore it does have moons ( five to be exact ).

Thank you for your useless and misleading contribution.

I thought Charon, and Erebus were already among Pluto's moons...

(And yes, as per the quoted definition,

He is right though. These are not moons but satellites. Let us just name those.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

As far as I know there is no collective agreement Pluto being a planet, a dwarf planet or a plotuid. And some arguments are funny too. Like "it can't clean its orbit of space junk, so it's not a planet" and then the others reply "Jupiter isn't doing too great too" etc.

At the end of the day, it's just a rock anyway.

Eh, you mean natural satellites.

Natural satellites == moons

To reiterate : Pluto has five moons ( natural satellites ).

When I was growing up, Pluto was a planet.

No, just satellites. It needs no further distinction here. Pluto was a planet with moons. Now it is a dwarf planet with satellites.

Pluto will always be my favourite planet.

I'm voting that it receives an orbiting Erebus to stop you young whippersnappers from bullying it any more.
