anywho, will proberbly post en mass on this thread, but my first papercut is no doubt:

the chimera is the size of a large battleship/orca ish?

The rendering makes me feel like im flying a toothpick..? =S

Seriously, i love EVE, everything it is, but after two and a half years here and constant training, i'd like a rather substantial of E-Peen to my screengasm, then presented with the pecker shaped and sized chimera.

Make it bigger plz?

thnx.

Agreed. Come to think of it, there are a lot of strange sized ships.

Why is the Machariel so huge?
Why is the Chimera so small?
Why is the Hyperion so huge?
Why is the Primae/Noctis the size of a battleship, especially when the windows and structure looks like it should be a lot smaller

There are other examples...

Corporation and Alliance show info should have a "current wars" tab...

Forming up random incursioneers is enough pain without having to go through the corp interface to check each of their corps for wars, by searching for each corp by name...

Curiosity killed the Kata... ... but being immortal he wasn't too worried about keeping a count.

#2 of really annoying little paperclips:

killrights and teh overview:

i wanna be able to SEE the people i have killrights on WHEN they are there, not 40 minutes later when i go "arh Thats where i remember him from"

teh way ive solved it so far is assigning killrights bad ( orange standing ) and then checking em on occation -killlrights expire but standings does not, and they coenside with the corp standings also which means i still> have to check if i havekillrigths on em b4 i engage.. obviously leaving my target running aways screaming long b4 i dare hitting my scramblers, also because the doods practically invisible to me, but i flash up like rudolph... you get the point..

It is.. *******> annoying and a fix would be nice.

I've popped a few veins in the forehead because of those two elements.

LOL... just because my suggestions are focused on an aspect of eve you despise, doesn't mean they aren't relevant.

Please fix it so that if a pos lab/array is set to alliance use, there is a feasible way for the alliance to use the facilities. At the moment it is still limited to the pos owning corp.

Command centers for PI are a necessary annoyance. The storage is too small, and the fact they can't connect to customs reduces them to a necessary evil.

Combining the storage and functionality of a launch pad with the command center would help, and making the command center mobile on top of that would be ideal.

Imagine being able to move your command center to new hotspot areas and having it actually worth connecting to your PI network, eliminating the need for separate launchpads?

Six months in the hole... it changes a man.

cleanup logviewer:

it uses far to much space to be usefull in fight and the notification box was fun fallout 1 but doesn't work for eve that well.

your shiny ship was wreckingly hit by 19 large firghtening modulated energy beams comming from Lord Commander Admiral Ludicus III inflicting almost 5 damage on your fast recharging shields.

all you wanted to know was the 5hp damage part...

something like (table):
hit | 5 damage | descriptive message
ewar | jamming | descriptive message

would be much better

improve notifications:
one single notification box. common. This does not make any sense.

we need a rolling list, something like a minimal logviewer. Example: 3-5 lines (configurable) showing the latest events. Old entries fade out.

+ merge multiple drone events to one event if they occur at about the same time

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Some of these I've mentioned before, but i'm copying from my thread so that XXSketchxx doesn't cry more.

So...

1) Sell multiple items at once - or at least give us back the hitting enter to sell an item.

2) Give us the option to show an actual cycle time displayed in numbers that will sit over the top of the icon. This works great for those like me who are precise in their mining.

3) Show missile max flight range with acceleration time already factored in.

4) Players can make and label tabs in their hanger and items, exactly like corp tabs. This is for organization without having to use containers to do so.

5) Fix the evemail... While it's functional and works good, it's a little dis-organized and a bit hard to sort things out at times.

6) Allow skills to be injected even if you can't train it yet. Just cause you can't train the skill, doesn't mean you can't memorize the book.

7) Allow skills to be que'd that rely on a skill currently being trained. I.E. if i'm training gallente indy lvl 5 and there are less than 24hrs remaining, allow me to que transport ships. if i remove gallente indy from training, then it also removes transports from que.

8) Allow linking items and locations from their info window by dragging and dropping.

9) Bring back the full sounds of mining.

10) Allow thrusters, turret and missile effects, as well as other visual effects to be seen even when you're zoomed out, unless you're zoomed out so far that you cant' even see the ship.

11) allow audio effects to also be heard even when zoomed out, unless you're zoomed out of visual range.

12) Allow items to be sorted in the market based on size and slots. In other words, i want to only see large items, or I only want to see high slot items.

Mining Drone Hot keys

Simple way to do it.

Drop Mine from drone options, cause no one tells their drones to only mine one cycle.

Mine repeatedly uses the same hotkey that you set for your combat drones to engage a target.

Simple, quick, helpful

#3 of the papercut bloodbath!

wrapped, bagged and packed:

U have decided to move, and for that u have bought a shiny new Ship, say a Charon, nice lovely and extremely big boat with a massive cargohold which will both serve the need of a sufficient E-peen in space, and also, luckily, as a nefty bag for all the crap youve accumulated over time, a sound investment, and a deciition u made on the ideat that:: *plinng* "Maybe if i had a bigger boat then a indy, i could move my all my ships at once and save like.. 5 hours jumping?"

An idea so clever your still smirkin slyly at it as you begin to load the ship with all from gizmoes gadgets and crap untill you finally decide to throw in the repacked boats u want with you. All is well and fine as your old frigates and random ships are deploed into the container, but, as you attempt to load the fully fit drake into the bowels of ur newborn baby, the "*BEEP* - Assembled ships wont fit into the cargohold, try repacking em first" text o' hell appears on ur screen.

"ARGHWUTDEHEK!!" you yell in frustration - "Repacking em? wutareyouONABOUT??? Wut about my RIGGS????"
You roar, as the perspective of hours and hours of hammering turning into a very nice set of ex bits and bytes, all spending their eternity on a harddrive, for just about a second, b4 being overwritten, and in any case leaving you depressingly riggless, dawns on you.

As you Aim ur photonic nerve tranquilizer AKA BFG4000 at CCP official you manage to pry the words "Lemmetransportmyriggswithoutrepackingem.." between ur grinding and powdered teeth.

And this is where the clerk lowers her glasses, looks up at you from her desk and with an indifferent gesture points at the large friendly letters on the LV-426 skyline: We appoligize for the inconvinience, but you will need to smash riggs of potentially several billion ISKs a few times a month on average in order for us to be happy and keep a steady supply of dollars from you to us, via the PLEX/dollar-redistributionsystem" it says ( The letters are faily well visited and tho people have argued that you can allmost feel> CCP smile as they run off to bank, and that people might feel slightly discouraged by this fact, the letters are expected to draw a steady crowd for the duration of the continued existance of the universe.

As u cog ur gun, and takes aim at, what you belive is the officials reproductive organs, a guy from another queue approaches you and goes: " u can transfer the ships to an alternate account and make a curier - then give the curier parcel back to your main and save ur riggs like that" he argues

U gasp for Air, and go "Why.. doesnt the CCP simply make a "reparcel" function on the rightclick menu of the universal interfaceO'succes?"

And this is where CCP goes:

[to be continued]

in short - having to circumvent the whole rpacking system sucks, and since its possible in the first place, and that it cant be stopped without killing some major game mechanics, then just do it all the way: A "reparcel" button is needed and long overdue at that.

D.

Ps. sorry for wasting ur time, but im extremely bored.

streamline clonejump / implants insert remove usecases

clonejumps:
requires being in a pod and having skilltraining paused, popup tells you what to do if necessary.
proposed new clone jump mechanics would do everything automatically.

pseudocode:
if(inship) {leaveShip()}
if(training) {pauseTraining(); wasTraining = true;}
doJump()
if(wasTraining) {continueTraining()}

destroying / inserting implants:
if(training) {pauseTraining(); wasTraining = true;}
doImpAddOrDestroyAction()
if(wasTraining) {continueTraining()}

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
