oh my...
New players in eve? impossible!!

seriously tho,
don't go giving away your isk. yes, eve is a universe filled with assholes (not the ones you scan down and do dirty things in) and yes you can actually lose this game. however, not in a way you'd expect it to happen. truly losing the game means ragequitting and never returning. if this happens, then eve is not for you and you should be thankful for only injecting 30 plex in your total game career, many people even on this thread have injected tenfold over the years they have played it (then blinked it all away, the irony).

however,
there is always a way to be victorious. there is no instant way to do this. sometimes it can take months to actually achieve something. heck, I still remember the joy I felt for having more than one million isk in my wallet! this was a major victory for me.
if you want to have this feeling of satisfaction in the PvP side of things, you must remember that PvP starts even before the aggression. easy targets are a PvP'er's wet dream (just read this OP and you'll see). do not become one of them (bit late, but still). instead, keep those bilions of isk for later. for now, stick to fitting a rifter to your best ability and go seek trouble. take notes, learn from your misstakes, until some day you will win. try and do it again and again, until you feel comfy doing it one scale higher. alternatively, you can join one of the PvP corps out there (RvB, Flying Dangerous) and see what you can learn from them. then one day, when you actually do feel comfortable with anything you fly, go seek out the original poster of this thread. act all noobishly, then surprise him. take his pod and be victorious.

TL;DR version:
stop raging, dont give away your isk.
for once, try to win instead of continuing this game-over streak.

fly safe(r)!

They are still as mean as ever...whiteknights are few & far between... do Eve's economy a favor though by not giving away the ISK: EVE needs more ISK sinks

Sorry to see a big spender go... maybe check out the HELP chat's & ask about how not to be scammed?

BAWHAHAHAHAHA Oh lord... I think that 400 bucks could have been better spent on a hooker and an 8 ball. Or maybe a collector's edition of Hello Kitty Island Adventure and 100,000 "whisker" dollars. Or maybe you could have paid a Hellen Keller impersonator to fly that Hyp. They probably could have done better....

Can't be real. I...no. My field of perception of reality isn't this easily fooled and distorted, is it? This is too perfectly contrived, too awesomely neat and tidy to be anything but some grand trolling experience.

...or is it there really are people like this? I DON'T KNOWWWWWW!!!! Shocked

So... um... yeah!

I cannot overemphasize the level of awesomeness in this statement.

We've found the new bounty system profitable ... if the scout alt pulses any burst weapon after a miner gank pods the victim, he gets a share of the miners' bounties on the gankers.

Kill Right Scamming

1. Create two disposable alt's
2. Have alt A gank alt B, giving B a killright on A
3. Have alt B put the killright on the market for everyone for 100m ISK
4. Fly alt A in a pod lazily through some high traffic gates (ie. 'fly casually Chewie...'), getting zapped by people jumping at the chance to buy that killright and blap you, before realizing its 100m isk...
5. Rinse, repeat, get rich.

Thank you, I am here all week...please try the fish.

As someone who occassionally plays tabletop games with cards/minatures, I can honestly tell you that dumping $400 on your first month is no biggie to some people---they just want it all now. Go on Ebay and search for Warhammer 40K armies if you don't believe me. I'd post a link to a 2k point space marine army currently going for $450 but I'm not sure if that's allowed.
