I'm currently playing Planetside 2. Will go back to Guild Wars 2 some day. Also drop some games at Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword each now and then. Same for Galactic Civilizations II (a true heir to Master of Orion II).

I'm not really keen at playing several games at a time, rather I will spend some weeks with a title until my interest fades or I feel the need to play something else.

The exception was EVE, which mostly deprived me from playing anything else for three years... Bear

pretty much sums up my top titles, except Civ V: G&K, though Civ IV: BTS was awesome.

Digging through a box in my storage room (2nd bedroom but it's my storage room) I found my old copy of Black & White 2 Big smile

It's on 3 of these archaic devices called "See Dees" but wow it takes me back to a simpler time <3

Hehe..I spend an ungodly amount of time playing Black & White 1 back in those days. Those quest-like tasks were incredibly annoying and ruined all of the fun for me.
But I am still proud how I somehow managed to teach my tiger to throw with poo at enemy villagers...

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Mostly Xcom / Shogun 2 Total War and sometimes Sleeping Dogs when I want to visualise brutally murdering my Asian clients after a difficult days work.

Oh and the Monkey Island / Discworld games when I need my nostalgia fix.

Skyrim on the PC. (I just can't get enough of this game)
Eurotruck simulator2 on pc (It calms me more than anything else that doesn't involve smoking).

GT5 on PS3 (I love driving games, I am THAT guy that will happily play a driving game for 5 hours to beat my best time by 1 millisecond)
Dust 514 on PS3 (giving it a go right now and enjoying it. not sold on longevity but then CCP may do some special **** as it goes forwards).

Plague INC on android Galaxy note (All humans must of course die.)
Minecraft PE on android galaxy note (I used to play PC version a lot but I switched to mobile for my creations and can't be arsed to play both versions. Interesting fact, I'm 1/4 way through building a hurricane at full size..... it's taken a year so far :/)

Chess on a board, with mates. (it's chess)
Khet 2.0 on a board with mates. (LAZORZ, on a side note, this game sends my cats batshit crazy and I have to shut them out of the room)

Have you tried Galactic Civilizations II? It is my favorite substitute. Of course, combat system is different and it doesn't hves those funny screens clogged with deathstars in the final battles after a successful game Twisted, but ship fitting is cooler than MOO 2's and the tech threes are quite good too.

So sue me.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Definitely a quality game, but I find it just doesn't have the same magic. Straight
