Does anyone think the male portraits turn out so much better than the female ones?

Maybe, we're so accustomed to the idealized faces of computer generated females that a realistically looking female drops into the uncanny valley.

Hair? I though this was a carpet hat.

In my opinion, it's easier to have something nice for a male, but they tend to offer less variety than female characters.

I don't understand why though. I think the eyes are a big part of it.

I'm going to have to go with "I'm better looking than all of you" on this one.

Blatant alt posting? In my EVE? It's more likely than you think.

True! I really do.

If anything I have a much harder time with the males... they all end up looking like total sleazeballs.

It's true that there are a lot of sleazeball portraits out there but even the n most of them are pretty hot.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

I've not really done a lot with the Customisation.

Facial expression seems to be a bit limited, or I dunno what I'm doing yet. (likely)

And expressions seem limited to the dour.

A manic smile or two wouldn't hurt to brighten up the forums.

I'm slowly getting used to this haircut.

And I would have only wanted pointy ears temporarily.

My portraits are fine, you just need better sculpting skills - or use auto-generator until satisfied.

Was the WiS Avatar dev team all male?

Well yes but slapping a pair of thunderboobs on is just cheating.

Female avatars can be nice too, you just need some skills.

Actually yes I agree. Was able to get mine to look very much like me. Tried to make my sisters look like her and welll....no.
