Caldari noob need help (PvE-Ship fitting)

Hallo everyone.

I have stopped to play for some time and now I found my corp-mates in null sec, new skills to train, few isks and the wrong fits on my mission ships (Caracal/Drake).
Ugh
Now, I would like to make some money before catch up with my corp-mates, but with the recent changes I don't know if heavy missiles are still viable option or if I should switch to assault heavy missile (and what is the common fit for drake running mission lvl 3). Can someone help me to "come back in business"?

This would be the lazy omnitanked Drake for missions. 520 tank, 332 dps with Navy Scourge. If your only concern is L3's you could squeeze another BCU in there to get some more oomph out of it.
I'd stick with HML simply because I prefer long range combat. If you want more DPS, feel free to fit an afterburner and assault launchers.
In case you plan running L4s in it (it is possible but sloooow) you should switch to ratspecific resists.
Drones should be a flight of Hobgoblin IIs, they are strong against almost anything.

I use 2 Adaptive Invulns, 2 LSE's and 2 Shield Rechargers in the mids
everything else is fairly standard really (as posted above).

Heavy missiles are still effective.
T2 Precision are v.useful against frigates
T2 Fury for everything else

Depending on my mood I also fly a Gila, Tengu or Cerberus, which means i am a little biased in favour of HML's.
The Drake isnt the optimum platform for L4's, if you care about min/maxing etc, but you will complete them eventually.

Because it takes so long to complete in a Drake you're often better off running L3s while you collect more iskies and train your skills, a Raven is a quite forgiving mission boat for L4s, it's a little on the slow side but you dont have to worry about range.

You'd need t2 drone skills, t2 shield tank, L4 Cruisesand at least Caldari Battleship III to use a Raven in L4s IMO, or you can go the Tengu route.

Beside isks, what I lack the most are battleship skills and Cruise missile skills. I will work on it, thanks :)

Funny thing is Tengu and Cerberus work better with HAMs, since they both have range bonus. My Cerb can shot faction up to 42 km and Rages up to 33 km.

Tengu 36/30

If you need (for somewhat reason) range, you have Javelins doing more damage than Rage HM at 55 KM.
