No, no, a thousand times no.

This thread needs to die and float softly to the bottom of the forum-sea, where all the bottom-feeding thread-fish and Forum Urchins can sustain themselves by feeding on its decomposed remains.

Scared that you'll be unable to exploit current killrights/bounties system to clear oneself from them with an alt?

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

Current bounty system as well as kill rights system do not serve their purpose imo so i came up with an idea that kill rights and bounty systems should be merged:

I find it strange that victims ask money for executing revenge for them instead of rewarding pilots for doing their job. So...

1. When you make kill right public you may place a bounty on it. Each kill right on a target has a separate bounty pool.

2. Kill right only expires/completed when bounty associated with it is paid in full or set time has passed since its last activation (for ex. 30 days) (Only applies to shared/public kills rights. Personal kill rights are still 1-time kills). Small fees to Concord for each activation may apply. Bounty is not refunded if kill right is expired.

3. You cannot activate more than 1 kill right on same target at any given time. If several pilots activate same kill right at same time - bounty will be paid to one who dealt most damage.

4. Do not pay bounties for kills where Concord dealt most damage.

5. Do not pay insurance to kill right target for lost ship.

6. Place a "wanted" sign only on pilots with public kill right(s) on them.

That will prevent new player griefing (with 100k isk bounties) and solve problem with "wanted" sign on portraits of innocent pilots. Also gankers will lose an ability to clear themselves from kill rights by killing own rookie ships with alts - they will have to lose 5xbounty to do that.

Gank a wealthy miner - make a whole EvE your enemy!

1. No, bounties should not be bound or limited to kill rights.

2. See above.

3. No. I don't see any issue, with activating more than one kill right atm. If the target has a bounty, you would only get one bounty payout. So it would make sense, to only activate one kill right at a time.

4. Why? Concord does not have any rights to say, who can and who cannot get paid from a player led bounty pool. The bounty system is basically a player standings system and NPC's have no place in it.

5. I say no to this too. Player against player in a legit fight, should pay out insurance. It's only a kill right. Other punishment would have already taken place, at the time the kill right was gained. Sec hit, ship loss etc.

6. No. If a player decides he wants someone wanted, then they are wanted. It's their money and not your place to say if the reason for placing the bounty, is good enough for the sign.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.
