cannot launch drones from battleships

strange things happened to me today: I was testing some fittings on a Rokh and a Mach and I could not launch light drones in space

You can launch drones, but they have to be packaged. Theres another thread about it also.

I encountered this as I was testing the new functionality of the salvage drones..

What changed with salvage drone functionality? Also, unpacked drones were launching for me fine when I was on about 12 hours ago.
