Ya know, JJ Abrams should have just never said a thing about "the villian will be from TOS" or anything to do with Khan or Gary Mitchell.

This is leading to nothing but irritation at this point....not something one wants associated with an upcoming film.

Also, I don't even want to think about the level this kind of crap will reach once Abrams is finishing up his upcoming Star Wars film. Brace yourselves.

He was probably expecting people to be excited when they heard. Directors always think they can do things better than the original, and the success of the first Star Trek 'reboot' only encouraged him.
