One of my alts flies 'Nul' all teh time. Nope. Most often the reaction when he enteres a system is to see a sharp *increase* in local population.

thats the blob trying to protect their botting RMT empire

Nice theory, but it doesn't hold water. Like I said, I go out there all the time. Randomly, whjere whim takes me. Many, if not most, of the systems are empty. The ones that are occupied are largely occupied by the gate guards, whom I *see* as I whip through their camps. I visit the belts, and the structures, and anyother celestial I can find, because that's what I do with my alt: I troll the hell out ot the residents. It amuses me.

And I can tell you that in the vast majority of the systems I visit, it's hard to find someone to pester.

Of course, you don't have to believe me, but maybe you want to try it yourswelf and find the true answer. Of course, that means that 1) you'll have to man-up and prepare to get popped and podded regularly for little gain (unless you're a dedicated space troll, like myself), and (worse) 2) you'll have to accept that you may find that you've utterly demolished your own pet theory.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Hey guys all of the gold farmers in wow are secretly controlled by the top tier raiding guilds because I'm an idiot

You would be surprised, there are actually chinese-only guilds that farm gold for RMT, the best way for them to do it is by running top tier dungeons/raids.

Actually, here's a story from my past, there used to be this game called Cabal online, my friend bought gold right in front of me and guess who came to trade him, yep, it was a max level "blader" from a well known guild.

So, you actually aren't an idiot :)

And out of ALL threads in GD you decided to feast on this one by sheer coincidence, i see. GD's threads must be more intelligent today than normally, eh.

You have a terrible definition of "interesting" if you think a "Max HAI GUISE I SMOKE DOPE Doobie" thread boasting about their article on EN24 is interesting.

Botting does not equal RMT. You don't have to bot to sell isk for cash

Botting makes moongoo income look like a joke. Never mind the comparative risk between conquering and holding a moon empire compared to just making more bots.

So first they buy it... and then they sell it. But how did they make that isk in the first place? I guess it could only be in empire!

I also enjoy the "guilt by self-defense" argument. I'm sure that goes over well in witch-trials and the like.

~~but technetium~~

a tech moon grosses 5.76b a month

that's a mere 192m per day

it's pretty fuckin easy to run more than 192m worth of missions in a day if you're a robot

so basically if you want to sell isk you can somehow get yourself a tech moon or run a mission bot

one of those is easier than the other and one of them scales a lot better

since when has flying around null ever been risky? once you get past the first few bubble camps its pretty much an empty waste land of bots between packed station systems and the odd blob desperate for kills
