Yeah thatd be cool if you guys enforced on them. Ive seen a real upswing of you guys ignoring trolls (especially when theyre CSM or Goonswarm)

Real, blatant troll posts that when reported nothing comes of it.

This would easily allow forum moderators to go through and start taking out forum posts that have been taken over by trolls... as well as possibly allowing them to do some sort of active automatic hidden for any confirmed troll for like 5 days...

So if someone does post something that "may be of value" and Goonswarm/Goonwaffe/Goons in general (for example) doesn't like the commentary they can send all their alts over to hijack the thread?

You'd send the mods into overdrive and burn them all out. They'd lock just to reduce the workload. Which is why it's done....

Besides, a good troll is never spotted and a bad troll is easy to ignore.

Although... hmmm.... how many people actually block trolls? Can't see what they're saying about you if you do hey? Blink

lol yeah you get this little red line that says "view post" I have it for the whole Goon Forum Posting division.
Makes it way easier to read the forums.

Trolling is OK.

Glad we cleared that up.

Trolling is OK as long as it helps the thread (and not just this thread, I mean all threads).
But more often then not, trolling = spamming.
It's like having to scroll through pages of junk mail to get to the proper mail.

As usual, you miss the point.

The original topic has been heard and well discussed, locking thread to stem the flow of trolling.
