How close can i get to the evegate before it kills me?

No idea, but I'll be heading there myself. I've seen C beams glitter off the tenhauser gate, attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, but I've never seen the cradle of god. This must be corrected, the same way Amaar correct any mistake. BRUTE FORCE

We could do it together.
I am quite tired of doing things on my own.

Also... what? Tenhauser gate? Shoulders of Orion?

You can't get close at all. The EVE gate is not something you can warp to. And trying to get there without warp is pointless as the effect you can see in the backdrop is not something you can reach. People used to leave cans as a long trail towards it so one could warp from can to can and then continue where one stopped.

Sometimes I do think it would be nice if they added in something we could warp too, the Sisters of EVE supposedly have a station there to observe the EVE gate.

In this dark void we are like brilliant stars, holding within us both the creative and destructive power to bring a new dawn upon worlds or plunge them into eternal darkness.

Thats... odd.
I clearly remember people telling about their journey
and them dieing ws they went too close.

Was it just lore? hm...

Or was that a different site in a different dead end?

Well the lore of the EVE gate states that the electromagnetic storms and gravimetric disturbances that surround it rip apart any ship that dares to get close to it. Once in a while the disturbances lessen allowing ships to get closer to take readings and make closer observation but even then they still need to keep their distance. Traversing it or reaching the structure itself is impossible.

Any one else think that the most important landmark of New Eden being in low sec is stupid. Bot my advice for anyone wanting to make the trip is to take a shuttle or stealth type ship there. They are damn near impossible to catch at a gate camp.

I try to be nice and mind my business just shooting lasers at rocks. There is just way too many asshats in New Eden for that to happen.
