Simple question, has CCP ever considered expanding CSM suffrage to Serenity?

Given that they are costumers just as any other I don't see legitimate reason they should not be granted same rights as EVE players outside of China. Only reason I can see this not being done is if there are some legal obstacles to it imposed by Chinese government.

There may or may not be legal (there probably is).

but because of chinese censorship, isnt the serenity server like a year or two behind in development than tranquility? that would make any of their input moot as their dwevelopment course is already planned.

that and also, since they are on their own server, they see different issues than us, and would prioritize thinsg we dont even consider relevant here, it would do nothing but cause sontroversy int eh CSM (not to mention SEVERE isues with CSM intercommunication since the cahnces of either group ebing able to fluently translate ideas between them would be wishful thinking).

and lets face it, the chinese would all group up into one mega-group to use ALL of the votes of everyone on serenity to get the maximum amount of people there votes would allow onto the CSM, which again, would be abd because of the reasons above.

If anything, most likely the company TianCity might decide if they want player input to help EVE adjust to china or other way around and stuff. I imagine the chinese government is enough CSM for CCP really.

The issues facing the Serenity community are doublessly incompatible and different then our community's - player density, timezone coverage, RMT tolerance, GM policy, resource access, so-on are all wildly different there. Encouraging Serenity input into Tranq game iterations would only result in compromises that help neither shard. The best solution would be to give TianCity any additional tools needed to make adjustments to Serenity as it sees fit. Then again, they seem to be doing fairly well for themselves at present, so...

CCP encouraging citizens of the People's Republic of China to engage in a democratic voting system.

Yes I can certainly see no ways in which this could go badly.
