I am sat here in my pod listening to some severe Hawkwind and realise how well it goes with playing EVE - for you guys who dont know Hawkwind they are a band that pioneered space rock music and pyschedlic tunes.
I have listened to thousands of tunes while playing EVE and Hawkwind fits better than most.
I recommend you guys try it out - its like it was written for the game.
Albums to try are - Pyschedelic Warlords and Space Ritual - but theres literally about 30 you can try.

So how about it CCP get hold of Dave Brock and his cohorts and ask to use a few tunes?

Its not that leftfield as theres currently a tv advert using a hawkwind track when a guy on a diving board dives through a car - Ford i think? lol.

Rock on.

I have tin foil hat trained to 5.

Just buy/get the album, In Search of Space.

The song, 'Master of the Universe' in particular.

I used to travel all over the UK to see them in the early '70s.

They are still going strong too. I am hoping for a gig near me in the next few months.

Side note.

Back in them days, bands used to keep the lights down while they set up and tuned their guitars in etc.

First time I saw Hawkwind, (1971) I complained to my friend that the band seemed to be taking rather a long time to set up, only to be told that they had actually being playing their set for the last 15 minutes.
