Hey guys...ran a few level 4's last night in my Armageddon and struggled along. It was slow...my tank was pretty week. A corp mate gave me an Apocalypse and I started throwing together a fitting:

Apocalypse
High:
7x Mega Pulse Laser II

Medium:
3x Cap Recharger II
1x Tracking Computer II (Optimal Range Script)

Low:
1x Damage Control II
2x Armor Hardeners (Depending on the mission enemies)
3x Imperial Navy Heat Sink
1x Large Armor Repairer II

Rigs:
3x Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

Drones:
10x Hobgob II

I am cap stable at 52% with 28.4k EHP 600+ DPS based on charges.

Any input would be great! Thanks in advance!
-Sin

These may as well be farts in the wind but I have had a few beers since the start of this thread.

there is no need to run cap stable for lvl4 missions. 10 minutes of cap is about as much as you'll ever need. i have never flown an apoc in missions myself but i would still advise you to add at least one more tracking comp for solid damage projection.
aside from that, the fit looks fine to me.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Try fitting a Micro Jump Drive. It's saved my Navy Apoc a few times when running plexes and sanctums. If you get neuted/webbed/scrammed, then hit the MJD, load scorch and move back in.

Apocalypse
High:

1x Tractor Beam II

Medium:
2x Cap Recharger II
2x Tracking Computer II (Optimal Range Script)

Low:
1x Damage Control II
2x Armor Hardeners (Depending on the mission enemies)
2x Imperial Navy Heat Sink
1x Large Armor Repairer II
1x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II

Rigs:
3x Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

Drones:
10x Hobgob II

I am cap stable at 52% with 28.4k EHP 600+ DPS based on charges.

So I dropped some stuff and added a few others. What do ya think?

You dropped a magstab in favour of an EANM. Don't do that! Big smile

I'm sorry but have you not heard of the search function? There's even a thread about fitting the same damn ship right below this thread!

This one's a bit over the edge guys.

So I am required to post in another persons post about a different fit? Sorry I don't have the ISK to spend on a full navy fitting, and no...no it isn't the same fit. Move along.

Magstab?

They meant heat sink. An EANM isn't a very good idea on a PvE fit (unless its incursions) because you get better resists from specific hardeners. Instead of the damage control and EANM you could have a thermic and EM hardener (If you were fighting Sansha or Blood Raiders) and you'll get a better tank.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Ahhh...yea I just tossed that on there because I wasn't sure if using 2x of a specific module like that would be worth the penalty...

Basic Apocalypse:

Highs: Pulse Lasers

Mids: 2x Cap Recharger, 2x Tracking Computer

Lows: Large Repairer, 3x mission hardener, heat sinks

Rigs: CCC

Works like a charm. You won't be cap stable, but you don't need to be either. Once you've got the money, upgrade to navy version for even more oomph.

EANM also gets a penalty, the higher the resist the less you get out of a module, even if you got the high resist from a different module (If that makes sense)

You don't need the faction stuff, but without it fitting everything is tricky, might need a CPU implant or consider using meta 4 tracking computers

You use the fit as a base, just because it has faction equipment, doesnt mean it needs them. Downgrade if neccesary. That still doesn't stop you doing a quick google or forum search. Stop cluttering the place up.

As stated previously...I bolded what you should take out of the text. If you are not going to help then why are you still here? Especially since I am "cluttering up the place" why would you keep bumping my topic?

As far as I know you lose functionality on the MJD if you are under a scram

Yes, MJD works with NPC scram. The only things stopping it are player scramble and scripted warp disruption field.

MJD does not work with scram but as NPC don't scram (they point) it works in pve.
