Well 1st of all let me say how happy i am for you to apply to this position.
I was in my second month of eve reading about wormholes and your website was my saving grace :D so much that if you remember i joined your corp!!

but serious stuff we played for a few months and in that time not only you were a teacher but also one of those rare really nice people you can meet in eve. Having returned only a few days ago to eve and notice that your are running for CSM i could not pass the chance to give you my support (even though im only gonna watch the podcasts and interviews now ^^)

you certainly have my +1 vote and i really hope you win!!

and ofc expect some messages in-game for stuffs you need to ask the devs!!

The eternal noob

Some updates:

An Interview on Crossing Zebras. Xander is an intelligent interviewer who asks the hard questions. I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity.

A Horse to PVP. My thoughts on improving warfare in high sec, and why simply changing game mechanics won't ever be enough.

Your link halfway down at "2) Options given to both sides of a conflict." is broken.

Extra end-bracket in the link. Fixed now, thanks.

If anyone is wondering, I've been updating my Jita Park thread more frequently. However, here is a recent update to my blog: "EVERYBODY VOTE!" Wherein I explain why the wormhole community still desperately needs a primary (of sorts).

We need voters who are as proactive as the candidates. Please read and be ready to vote on March 22nd!

@ Nathan Jameson - Are you in the "wormholes are fine, if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp or will you be pushing for change/additions if you get elected?

Yes. POS's are perfectly fine. Leave them as is.

To be specific, wormholes as an environment are wonderful and still function more or less as intended. The tools we have to interact with them, however, are in desperate need of improvement.

I wouldn't mind seeing some new content added (new sites, etc.) but that's pretty far down the list after game issues that actually need fixing.

(BTW, that first line was a troll.)

A quick update:

Just so that everyone is aware, I am available to talk on voice comms (TS3, Mumble, Skype, etc.) for those who are interested in more direct communication. Groups that would like me to field questions from their members, for example, could take advantage of this.

As I live in Taiwan, my hours are a bit limited. Here are the general times that I’d be free to talk each day:

Sunday – Thursday: 1200 – 1600 EVE Time

Friday – Saturday: As this is the weekend, my schedule is much more flexible. Contact me if you have a time that works for you, and I’ll see what I can do!

I hope to hear from many of you in the near future!

I've just realized that, for better or worse, I am now the executor for the largest wormhole alliance in the game.

New blog post up: "Changing of the Guard"

A number of significant changes have happened to the wormhole political landscape recently, and I discuss the two leading causes of wormhole groups failing.

I cannot understand why someone would be opposed to improving them. Seems stupid.

Stupid is not understanding the difference between "fine, could always be improved" and "broken, needs fixing to be fully functional." I'll give you a hint. It determines priorities.
