It takes about 2 months to train every race up to battleship 4. The basic ship skills are not that time consuming.


I have an alt that is a drone user. He doesn't bother with missiles or turrets. His high slots are filled with things like:

* Nosferatu (energy vampire)
* Drone Link Augmentor
* Shield Transporter
* Remote Armor Repairer
* Auto Targeting System II (never active - used only to gain 3 targets).

He started with Gallente drone ships, then trained Caldari to use the Guristas Pirates ships (Gila, Rattlesnake).
