Hi all,

I'm Currently in training for doing inventions to make somewhat of an income. I'm still very new to the mechanics of the whole thing and had a few questions.

1. Are R&D agents worth having for inventions?

2. What is the current process of getting the decrypters from these agents?

If anyone could help me on these questions or possibly give me some insight on inventions it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you all for your time.

R&D agents are currently crap and aren't likely to improve. Datacores (note: not decryptors!) currently come from those agents, radar sites, and most importantly from factional warfare LP stores. The vast majority come from the third.

Decryptors come from radar sites.

In general, it's not efficient to farm for these items yourself. Your best bet is to get them from the market and simply rely on your actual invention profits to, you know, make a profit.

Yeah datacores just went through a huge nerf that made them harder to make really any sort of isk from. Even the popular datacores like mechanical engineering have crashed in price.

I once podded myself by blowing a huge fart.

ahh yes my mistake, i meant datacores. Can ya tell him new to this :).
Well thats a shame then i guess, will have to look deeper into then.
thanx alot guys for your help and insight.
