Due to the secretive and low-profile nature of our profession, I am forced to share very little specifics. However, for the right person, this job will be a huge money maker with relatively little effort. I have made nearly 800m this week doing what I am hoping to outsource to the right candidate. I will still be doing the con myself, but with extra help we hope to pull in even more victims and their lovely piles of spacemoney.

Who we are.

This is an alt. My main and some others are involved in an elaborate scam that requires winning the confidence of the victim and then taking almost all their ISK. In the past week alone we have taken billions from about 10 pilots.

Why we need a con man.

Currently our growth is capped by our ability to reel in new victims. Even with all my charisma, there are only so many people I can talk to at once. My profile is rising to the point where I'm becoming less efficient at pulling in victims. This is where you come in. You bring them in, use whatever sales pitch you want as that is irrelevant as long as you can convince them to do X (which will be described to the right candidate.) That activity X while harmless and ordinary on the surface, is a deadly trap.

Ok, so what will I be doing *specifically*?

What you will be doing is convincing people to engage in a certain activity. This activity is a routine part of EVE and many people do it. You have to make them do it in a certain way, obscure its risk, garnish its rewards, or use any tactic within the EULA to make it happen.

How you do it is open ended. It's irrelevant to us as long as it gets done.

This is NOT a Jita Local scam that involves spamming the same contract link a million times. This is a targetted scam where each con has to be tailored for the victim. If you think you will be good at this because of your Ctrl+Up skills, stop reading right now.

Why does the con man need you and your group once he learns how the con works?

This particular scam is very difficult to solo. You are welcome to try it on your own, but chances are you will fail. There are a lot of moving parts and different people have to fulfill different roles for it to work.

How can I know that you aren't in fact trying to con the con man you hire?

We will require no ISK or assets from the hired con man. We simply require them to convince victims to engage in activity X. We can also provide proof of previous cons, but this will happen well into the selection process.

How much ISK will I make.

This depends on how many people you can deliver to us (aka convince them to do activity X), and how rich those players are. I have personally convinced about a dozen players this week. The ISK gains are split amongst all the participants on a job, currently we are averaging about 500m per victim with about 5 people per job. So the cut has been 100m per participant per victim. So if you bring us one person who is worth 2 billion, then you are looking at a payout around 400m or so. It's hard to predict how much you can/will earn, but I can safely say even the blubbering idiot can probably pull in a 100m per week. A real con genius is looking at a billion+ per week.

Ok, so how do I get involved.

Send me an evemail, link to any previous con jobs, describe why you think you will be good at it. In a way, this is the perfect job application for a con man, because to get in, you have to win my confidence, and if you can do that, you can do it to anyone.

How many people do you need?

Since we pay on a commission basis, the more the merrier. However, for the sake of operational security, we are currently limiting hiring to no more than 3 individuals.

The right candidate.

This is a list of desirable qualities.

  • Clean history (cleaner the better)
  • Active player
  • Good communication skills.
  • A good understanding of the game, and combat and corporation mechanics in particular.
  • Persistence and an ability to deal with rejection. Such is the nature of the con mans job. Even if 1 out of 10 fall for your con, you win.

So without further ado, please feel free to apply for this position or ask questions in this thread. I apologize in advance if I am unable to answer some questions.
