As we all know, the 2013 CSM elections are coming.

The 2012 CSM has shown us what a competent, stable, willing, and non-irish people can do. The CSM has helped give valuable feedback to CCP, some of which they've even taken to heart and made actionable changes with, and ... to me, most importantly, give -us- feedback and let us know what the future of our game holds.

But, what do we want in a candidate? It's clear we'd love to troll our Icelandic brethren horribly and have great fun at their expense, but we also need someone who knows the game, and who... when the cards are thrown out onto the cable, will be able to respond in kind with good ideas, witty insults, and the panache to move minds.and hearts.

We need the man who ****** goons before we knew :fuckgoons: was a thing. We need a man with the moral conviction to see his ideas out, and to take pleasure in seeing them come to fruition, whether it's a rebalance in moon minerals, a revamp of the pos system, or implying that CCP Soundwave is gay.

My friends, my fellow capsuleers,

We need penifSMASH.

A candidate this good, needs wooing. We can't just ask him to be the CSM of our hearts... we need to earn it. He'd never take it upon himself to run, but we can convince him.

It is my intention to start a draft penifSMASH campaign, beginning with this thread, and a twitter hashtag, #draftPENIF, used inconjunction with #tweetfleet.

We can do it, we can convince him to run, and we will all be better of for having him.
