I'm going to speak, uninformed, here since I didn't read the entire thread. So, I apologize before hand if I am wrong.

There is no way you'll convince me you're not replicating your keyboard/mouse clicks which is or at least was against the EULA/TOS. Not that I really care. I'm just saying.

Also, you're all that is wrong with the Eve universe. Good day, Sir!

Seems like yesterday you were arguing about how removing wardec evasion and NPC corps that help protect guys like Wis and such was bad and selfish

oh wait that was yesterday

I'm pretty sure the two topics are mutually exclusive.

All I needed to read.

GMs have stated on many occasions that isboxer is allowed as long as the player is not using macros that allow the clients to go totally unattended.

Best advocate for bumping damage/ keeping them intangible until they exit the station shell.

I bought a new SSD a month ago and immediately put my pagefile on it. It has now expended 0.6% of it's theoretical lifetime. So this is hardly a big deal.

Hmm, with that many ships you could create art.

Get them all mining and then position them so the beams create a laser show, or artwork.

Really? Is this a hard limit or can you increase that number by having more screen resolution?
This will throw a massive spanner in my works if it is true :/

If you stretch the desktop between screens then you have sufficient real estate.
Though why not alt tab between them?

Yes I do have a job. I work for my self. And the work is usally slow. I own my home and land and do not need much to make ends meet.

I spend allot of time at home waiting for work orders to come in and will take off to do the work when it does come in.

Well if you look at ice mining and the way I do it there is no need to replicate the keyboard and mouse clicks. Even if I did replicate them it is not agenst the EULA/TOS since they allow isboxer witch does that it self. Once you have a steady pattern down it is very easy to handle allot of clients and you do not have to handle them all at once.
If I did replicate all keyboard and mouse you would see all my guys undock at the exact same time and not one by one like they did in the video.
I do use the fleet warp command to move them sometimes.

\Well I buy cheap referbish SSD drives small ones and put the whole OS on them. When they go bad there are tricks to recovering them and getting them to work again. Every night I do a full backup and since the SSD drives are so fast if one crashs I can have the system back up in about 30 min and back to playing.

Of course Computers and networking is my field so I am very use to this.

I have been trying to work on that. I keep trying to think what would be cool. Would like to be able to do like a laser light show to the music.

But for 1 man that is very hard to jump around to different clients to switch lasters etc.

I myself have never been much of an artist I am more computers networking and math person.

Replicating mouse and key strokes to multiple clients is not against the rules. Please see the relavant information here:

Quote:

Hello there,

To make a long story short, automation of gameplay is not permitted; players must be manually issuing the commands to control their character(s) at all times.

Our stance on programs such as Synergy and hardware/software combination such as the G15 keyboard is that they can be legitimately used as long as gameplay isn't automated. Synergy allows you to move your mouse cursor to multiple different monitors which are hooked up to different computers and we do not have any qualms with players using the program for this purpose. If Synergy was used in some way to control your accounts for you without a need for you to be at your keyboard, then that would not be allowed, but I am not aware of such a functionality with this program. If Synergy is used in conjunction with some other program to automate gameplay, it would not be permitted. G15 "macros" which allow you to group different commands into one keypress are allowed. For example, setting your G1 key to press F1, F2, F3 and so on for you with one key press is allowed (although this specific command is not as useful as it was before now that we have weapon grouping).

An exceedingly complex G15 macro which would effectively automate gameplay, such as mining, without a need for the player to be present at his keyboard would be against the EULA, regardless of whether the player utilizing said macro is sitting at his keyboard at the time!

Lastly, multiboxing is allowed, and programs designed for multiboxing in mind which allow a player to manually issue the same command to multiple game clients at the same time are allowed. In the same vein as what has been stated above, the player must be manually sending the commands; if a program is automating those commands for you, then it would be considered a breach of our EULA.

I hope this clears up this matter.

Best regards,
Senior GM Lelouch
