Alright, I am setting up an alt at the moment and noticed that my setup (overview, window positions ect, not the graphical settings) is not transferring over, I attempted to move some files under the eve application support file and found that I only have 2 settings files in there, one that I had copied for singularity and the one I had copied it from, the main tranquility server. Now I need to know if there is a way to transfer the settings files over, which files are they?

Dred.

You need to copy the files found in ~/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility/settings/ specifically the core_char_XXX_.dat and core_user_XXX.dat files. The main question is, are you just trying to copy these to a second character on the same account or to a character on a new account? If this is the same account, ignore the core_user_XX.dat file, because those are just global settings for the entire account and you don't need to copy it over. If this is for an alt on a second account and on a second install, then you'll need to copy them both into the Application Support folder for the second account, like ~/Library/Application Support/EVE Online 2/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility/settings/.

Now, the XXX that I am showing above is a string of numbers that is specific for both the different accounts and characters, so you'll need to make sure you know which account has which string of numbers so you know what to change it to when you make your copies.

Say, for example, you have two accounts. Your main has account number 111111, your secondary is 222222, so when you copy the core_user_111111.dat file, you'll need to rename the new file to core_user_222222.dat

As for the characters, it works the same way. You have character 333333 as your main and character 444444 as your alt, so when you copy over the core_char_333333.dat file you'll need to rename it to cor_char_444444.dat to pick up the new settings.
