Hello,

Im a new miner looking to join a corp that is into mining ofcourse, As of this post ive recently purchased a Caldari Osprey.
Still needing some tips on fitting it, Thats pretty much all the info i got like i said im a new player looking to learn more about eve.

Edit: im not looking to start/join a very new corp as ive been asked in the past.

Hello !

First, the bad news : the Osprey recently lost its mining bonuses to become a Remote Shield Repairer ship ...

Good news : there is now a new mining frigate called the Venture, that is very easy to train for (you can get the skill book and the ship in the mining mission tutorials), and that does a better job at mining than the previous mining frigates/cruisers.

Now, for the pitch : we are an old corp that just came back from the brink of oblivion, we are now focused on mining, building and running missions, we do daily mining operations for profit (either by selling the ores/minerals, or by building things to sell), and we have a couple of knowledgeable veterans that can help you grow in eVe ...

What is your timezone ? We are EU players, so that might be a problem ...

Good afternoon Suigetsu, Lords Of Valhalla are a new corporation looking at branching out into all aspects of New Eden. Let me first tell you the aims of the corporation. I aim for the corporation to have different fleets; a mining and industry fleet (that can provide the raw materials for the corporation when needed (you will have protection via some corp members)), a PvE fleet and PvP (for running missions, fleet ratting, for PvP and general roaming).

Why have I messaged you? Currently we are recruiting and I am looking for industry pilots that can Mine and Refine.

Making money for a corp is essential to run the corp, rent offices and buy bluprints, corp ammo etc, so for everything that you mine and produce, the corporation will require 7% of the profit made. In otherwords, what you mine in your fleet belongs to the fleet but the corporation itself will take a commision of the ISK made form each fleet member. Other corpoations (the industry ones that are run properly and effectively anyway) usually require about 15%-20% of the profit.
