Has already everybody knows by now, we had a huge Tidi session the other night.

One thing I notice is that each time a huge number of pilots dock/undock, jump a gate or jump to a cyno, tidi goes up very very fast 10x faster than when people are in space and just start shooting one another, question is:

- has someone already run a profile on these moments and found out what is the bottleneck that cause tidi to spike 10 more on these specific moments than any other pilot activity in space and there is any techical solution to solve these spikes and a timetable for a fix implementation?

I dont mind tidi but I get the impression we could have less severe tidi (not 10% all the time) and with less spikes (going from 80 to 10% in one second) if these undocks, jumping moments could be profiled and fixed.

Unforgiven Storm for CSM 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. (If I don't get in in the next 5 years I will quit trying) :-)

The problem is that session changes (docking, undocking, jumping, ...) are very heavy on the server. We know why this is the case (a big part has to do with the handling of skills) and we have plans to address this at some point in the future. You can try to search the forum for "brain in a box", which refers to a possible approach for fixing this problem. Unfortunately I am not able to give any ETA for a fix.
