Is there a certain threshold where it becomes impossible to somehow repair faction standings or can you always do something to make them better, even if it takes ages?

Thx.

You can always repair them, though sometimes it'll be painfully long. Check out DeMichael Crimson's Faction Standings Repair Plan for details on how to do it.

No matter how bad your standings get level 1 agents will always be available. This means even if you have -10 Caldari faction standings you can talk to a level 1 agent for a corporation who gives positive Caldari faction and fix your standings with them.

If you do need to do this I suggest looking into training some social skills to make the agents like you more and give you greater rewards!

Repairing standings to empire factions is not too bad.

Trying to recover from rock bottom pirate faction standings is far more painful.

I could, but you can Google it just as easily as I can. Not trying to be rude, but you can't expect people to spoon feed you everything, especially when it's as simple as running a quick Google search.

Thank you all for your answers.

-E- Yes, I could have an I probably would have looked for it myself at some point, but if you are going to mention a guide that explains it all, you might as well link it :|

I would think the +30% for the pierat epic arc would help with that?

I agree with ST here. It was much easier to repair my abyssmal angels standings than my pretty-awful amarr standings. The Angel Sound arc delivers me around +36% faction standings each time round ... and my angels faction standings has moved from almost negative-ten to now allowing me access to all Angels' lvl4 missions ... while the best I can say for my Amarr is that it's above zero.

Of course, you'd be a dill to try run the fantastic Angel Sound epic mission arc without my wonder-package: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=12973&find=unread

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

That is only available for two "pirate" factions, sadly, namely Guristas and Angel Cartel. Yes, that will help your standings with their allies, but far less.
