So I was shopping for waffles the other day.....

As I turned around the corner, I saw this girl lying on the sidewalk, screaming like mad, with two other girls kneeling above her and pushing her to the ground. Re-evaluating the situation, I realized that those two girls were not attacking the screaming one, but actually trying to calm her down.
And man, did she scream, it reminded me of the monsters from the old Godzilla movies I used to watch as a kid. Ear-piercing, inhumane- no sane, god-fearing person could ever produce such a sound, and this little girl was maybe only ten years old.
“I kill her!!! I kill her!!! AAAAAAARGH..That filthy rotten ******!!!! I kill her!!!! AAAAR!!! That ******** ******* ******* !!!!! I kill her!!!!! WAAAAHHHHH!!!”
Slowly I backed off....don’t get involved.. I thought- that’s not your business here...
The young girl kept screaming and spitting out swear words that would have made me proud if I had known them at that age.
One of the girls on top was talking in a soothing voice: “Hush now...calm down..she’s your mother...”
Unimpressed, the screaming girl was punching into her general direction and struggling to break free: “ I f***** KILL THAT B*****!!! I KILL HER!! SHE DELETED MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT!! THAT S**** DELETED MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT!!!”

I used to have an Internet Facebook account, these days I just skimmed down to twitter and whatsapp. Feels liberating after being there since 2005, my 300 non real life friends probably miss me tho Oops

I have never had nor will ever have any social media accounts. No thanks...I'll pass. When the end comes at least I won't be staring stupidly at my blank computer screen wondering what to do next...

Yep. Even without Facebook, people ignore who's next to them. Next time you're in a restaurant at lunch time, watch what happens when a group of people come in. When the sit down, they don't talk to each other. They all pull out their smart phones and connect with somebody else. Pretty sad when a shared meal isn't really a shared meal.

Be it Facebook or "Mein Kampf"- we Germans were always prone to killing over books...
