Issues, Workarounds & Localization

I had to uninstall and do a fresh download and install today, but when I tried to download the game as I did last time (through the automatic Downloader/installer) it didn't work.

The download initialized and stopped showing in details:

So, after trying this a few times, I decided to do it manually via exe and payloads, but when I launch the exe and try to install, I get this message:

"Archive extraction failed: 3"

I'm not sure what to do at this point, and would take nearly any suggestion.

Usually it means that the download was corrupted somehow. This is what I did to get around it, from another post:

"Just a follow-up. I was finally able to download the entire payload using Firefox's 'DownThemAll' addon. I used it in conjunction with the Hotspot Shield VPN, and finally was able to install the EVE client. "

I uninstalled the hotspot shield vpn after using it as it's heavily ad-ware. You might just try the Firefox utility on its own first. This is just a solution I had success with after a few days of trying other things.
