Perhaps if you simply say a "successful" trader is one that makes more money than they spend, yes, you can casually trade in the game. If you're talking about those that make a significant amount of money in the market, I don't believe you can do that casually without a lot of isk involved.




I can think of a list of 20 - 30 items that one could trade "casually" in Jita and make decent income because of high margins and decent turn-over on a daily basis and even higher margins once you include the weekly/monthly reliable cyclic price swings.

Would not be as great an income of someone who trades in a lot of items, but would probably be an easy 30min/day to make more than someone else running L4s for 2-4 hours could do, depending on your order sizes of course.
