1. Its useful for setting traps, particularly for frigs and dessies. Put a tanky t1 frig in a medium plex, wait for a daredevil, T2 frig or something similar to show up, melt daredevil face. If multiple frigs show up... stay cloaked. This would only be useful in systems that have very low population, otherwise you'd risk not being able to kill the T2 frig or Dessie before the guy's buddies show up.

targeting delay after decloak gives the daredevil enough time to run away from your frigate buddy (dd can always disengage due to his web bonus) or to close in on your rapier if you are too close (and he will kill you if he can get within 5km of your Rapier).

I'd consider 220mm ACs over 425mm ACs or artillery. Faction webs are pointless when flying solo (people will just warp out) but a RF point is mandatory.

It's debatable, it's pretty clear that pilot was in well over his head if he let anything get that close to him. With a DD, I'd do my damnedest to stay out of HIS web range because then any advantage is lost. I'm also willing to bet he didn't drop his drones.

Replace that target painter with a tracking disruptor and run an optimal range script. Put 425's in rather than arty, and rig for range. Get rid of the eanm and plug in something useful.

After that, pick your targets, as with anything else.

I used to like arty on this setup, but I would sometimes get tracking issues from my own speed tank. You lose a little applied dps with the 425's due to range, but I think overall it works better. Obviously, use barrage.

he did use one set of drones (i was the dd pilot) - I webbed and killed them (keeping the rapier scrammed so he couldn't pull range). I took a lot of damage until the drones were dead and I could go back to orbiting the rapier at close range but overheating the armor repairer and Exile allowed me to survive long enough (dipped into structure).
