Ok so today's patch and people being unable to log on seems as if CCP may have broken something.

I was one of those people.

After some digging and help from others it seems it is NOT CCP to blame but Above.net, Above.net route information leaving the UK. so i did some testing.

My Location = Manchester UK

pings and speeds from my location

Test results

Manchester

ping = 36

Download = 32.76

upload = 7.36



Reykjavik

ping = 58

Download = 17.45

upload = 5.94


^^^^^ the connection here is now really slowing...



Anywhere in USA


Been waiting 10 mins now and still had no results.







im wondering if the CCP information from UK and USA route through an Above.net hub.

I believe all this is a coincidence between patch release and Above.net issues.


try testing the connections for your selves. i used www.speedtest.net you move the blue box on the world map to select where you want to test to.
