No micro-transactions for game equipment.
Period.

You wanna pay cash for vanity stuffs? Be my guest. Otherwise, Hell no.

Paying money for a second account is functionally no different than having another player so far as the game is concerned. That being the case is cooperating cheating?

Yes. Friendship is magic OP. Nerf Friendship.

So why do you need a DRONE to do it?

Sounds like you're still worried that your second account will get shot.

You'll break a plex to buy a drone to send through a gate, and ***** that people already do that by using second accounts?
You'll break a plex.
A plex.
Plex.

Why wouldn't you just use the plex for a second account?
We both know you'd use isk to buy the plex to get the Aur. If you actually had a brain.

O_O *sudden realisation*

Glad you could come to the logical conclusion. The same that many people who box with scouts do. In addition if you finally make it big and decide to break the bank and buy a capital ship that scout account is good for making two additional cyno alts so that you can jump quickly to other locations.

It should be LP, not Aurum. The Empyrean Age described how the Gallente and Caldari send very expensive cloaked drones through gates to track enemy ship movements on the other side (i.e. to look for a military build-up.)

-1 for Aurum/Pay to Win
+1 for having Peeping Tom spy drones
-1 for even proposing such an idea when CCP can't even let us look outside a station window to see who's on grid before undocking.

This.

Also Im still waiting for ultra expensive top hats to be introduced in nexstore (and market). So i can LOL on those poor trolling peasants, constantly b!tching about hisec wealthy capsuleers earnings.

Considering that all items in game as of now can be resold for ISK to other players, and considering there's more PLEX in circulation than needed for accounts subscription purposes, this means these so-called "pay to win" drones (and any other item that will ever be NEX-sold for AUR) will end up sold for ISK on the open market in enough quantities eventually to reach a stable price and heavy market presence, thus rendering their "pay to win" moniker irrelevant, as they would become "just another item".

So you can drop the whole "pay to win" angle and consider JUST THE ITEM ITSELF as good or bad, on its own merits (use/function).
Where the item comes from (and how much it costs) is of a very distant secondary importance.

ISK -> PLEX -> AUR -> whatever you want. You don't ever need to pay any RL cash yourself. Somebody else will for you.
You also don't even need to ever have any AUR at any time either, somebody else will walk that exchange line and put up the item itself on sale on the market eventually anyway.
The only issue is whether the equipment offered itself obsoletes already existing (player-manufactured or player-obtained) equipment or not (if it does, it's bad for the manufacturers of the obsoleted equipment ; if it doesn't, who cares).

Explain how this gives someone an advantage over another person who doesn't spend real money to do the exact same thing.

Ok, this one applies as a leading bad (not to use any harsher word) idea for January. And maybe it will go in
yearly draw for BIG yearly award for most idiotic idea how to improve EvE online.

I'm a diplomat. Sometimes i throw 425mm wide briefcases at enemy. Such is EVE.

I like to play with other people and good FC's.

That's how I know what's on the other side of a gate.

So....a feature is available via isk/plex/aur (scout alts) and you want to add another feature that will be available for isk/plex/aur (camera drones) that will do the exact same thing. k.......

Some sort of single shot probe, fired from a scan probe launcher, that goes through the gate, and gives a reading on shiptypes within a certain range of the gate, could be pretty cool. Perhaps probe strength would dictate the accuracy of the ships on the other side, varying from Tengu, to Caldari Strategic cruiser, to Cruiser, to Medium ship or even just 'Ship' would be pretty cool.

Paying for something like this with Aurum is bad. Just charge for it with isk. it WOULD be pay to win with aurum.

I have a better idea, how about you pay REAL LIFE CASH to actually make yourself invincible and everyone else who comes within 5 systems of you get so nerfed they stop due to engine falure, lose all cap, ALL of their modules go off-line and they cant log out. This would be fun wouldn't it?
