This time the wild Hollywood douchebag meets an intelligent model. Rarer than a yeti. Big smile

Let's see what happens.

but bane, the real issue is you started a thread about a b-list website about a c-list drama queen tweeting about a d-list actor.

I don't think Mr. Presley will recover from this one. Lol

The Chive..?!
Roll

Honestly?

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

No, no...

Just that every now and again, I'm stunned by the complete and utter lack of imagination to be found on 'teh interwebs.'
I know... Silly of me. But still, one does hope that the human race might take at least one step out of the gutter.

Once in a while that occurs, but society as a whole quickly pushes it back. We can not have people breaking from the norm, people whom do usually have more success in life than the rest.

Well, I found it an excellent demonstration of the desperate depths and lengths men will go through to get a piece. And they almost always get caught. And they never learn really. Even the head of our CIA got caught out remember ? And if even he can't keep that a secret, that says something.

FTFY

Most men are somewhat more subtle - and principled - than that. If this were not so, it wouldn't be even a mild scandal when one does sink so low.
OTOH, every one of these idjiits that pops-up lowers the bar for the rest of us; it becomes so much easier to be impressive when you've so many bad examples.

Maybe we should thank this guy. Blink

Yeah, i visit The Chive sometimes, wanna fight about it? P

Schadenfreude is one thing the EVE community always seemed to enjoy in the past. Now i just don't know what to think anymore.

This guy probably thinks he's being clever and subtle, too.

If you have to try to be impressive, you're only making it clear you are not.

Oh, schadenfreude is just fine. Just the cheap knock-off name referencing The Onion... well, cheap knockoff is cheap.

No doubt. Never-the-less, to an external observer (and we are, of course, external bservers, or the schadenfreude simply would not be so delicious) he's a tool. The same external observer can look around at other men and observe that there are some real-world examples of clever subtlty, thus confirming that douchebag is douchey.

That is recieved wisdom, and should be stamped on the insides of every man's eyelids in radio-luminescent ink. Where we can promtly ignore it.
