K-space -> K-space holes need to be increased

Right now, far too many holes in k-space are just someone's static opening into k-space. Most explorers don't even warp to holes any more because of this. The transport and tactical possibilities of increased k-space holes would add an interesting element to the game, making probers worth more than just PvE and the occasional warpin.

While I would support more k-space <--> k-space connections for the logistical advantages, your statement about statics and such is at best confusing. Or is it just so inconvenient that you may, god forbid, have to scan more than 1 wh to get a route from k-space to k-space? Regardless, "making probers worth more than just PvE and the occasional warpin.", huh?

The unpredictability makes me skeptical of it being worth the time spent scanning and hoping. Maybe for null people hoping for a HS hole in their home they could jam a freighter back and forth through. You also seem to dismiss highsec diving as being worthwhile. I was under the impression that was a reasonably popular activity.

Couple of thoughts.

First. This would be better of in Features and Ideas.

Second, you really have no idea how many k-space to k-space WH's exist at any given time in all of New eden, so it is hard to say thre need to be more or less.

Randomly occuring WH's like any other signature is just that, random. And as such they will show up with less frequency. There could be at any given time, 100's of such wormholes, sitting in empty systems waiting to be found. But nobody knows.

K162's on the other hand are more frequent since they are spawned by players actively looking for exits.

They should fix C4s, before even thinking of anything else in regards of wormholes.

What needs fixing in C4's? I love them...

I dunno about 'fix' but an extra static might be fun.

Hence it would be interesting if KS <-> KS wormhole spawning mech were remade into that what you'd expect it to be without knowing EVE WH spawning mech: both ends spawning and being detectable before anyone warps to one.

Those are called gates, we already have those.
