Well after looking at your avatar I would say you owe an apology to goats in general.

People use labels like pubbies because they think it will get a certain kind of response. An alliance leader or somebody of that ilk will create it and then the rest of them (not just picking out Goons here) will follow because they think it's funny or cool or more often than not they are just following the crowd.

Labels are fine everything gets labeled eventually it's easier to say "sheep" than say "Someone who can't think for themself and needs to follow the rest"

in a way i feel sorry for folks who have to use made up words as a crutch in thier life cause, as much as people hate to accept it, they are indeed still living when they come online. Makes you wonder what these 13 yr old pre-pubescent boys will think when they really try to go to the "pub" with mates when theyre 18/21/whatever. This all depends on how they pronounce the online "word" of course, but calling someone a pub(place that sells alcohol)-bie is even more demented then being called that in the first place

The sheer amount of hate, unhappiness, 'Ban goons' threads and so on make them relevant, and how did all this come about? Because of things they do in game.
The truth is, after being on so many sides in so many wars I find being allied to Goonswarm Fed and being part of the CFC the most fun I have yet had in Eve. FUN, you remember that right? Its what you play a game for.
