Heinously rigged Minmatar blockade runner with some resistance to warp dist and web (except when it's the Death Star).

That is my stock light lowsec freighter. It will go right through the Gondista gate camp with a beer3 handicap, beer2 if Callum is there in an interdictor.

I always kind of think of it as a Mellenium Falcon.

I like it!

Chuck in a co-processor I and you can have a large shield extender II on it. Then again if you are using this fit for RP, more power to you.

Actually, if you take Quantum Physics into consideration, the statement you are attempting to debunk is theoretically true, flying close to black holes theoretically causes a distortion of time and space (or what we call time and space) to a degree that time passes differently for you than it does everyone else...and at different rates, depending on how close to it you are...as well as space being more dense, etc.

Could also travel fast enough to get relativistic speeds ( and not relativistic speeds as well , see the ISS crew aging 0.007 seconds less over 6 months than us ) with out entering hyper-whatever

First off, let's get the size accurate: according to Wookiepedia, the MF is roughly the same size as an Amarr shuttle. This thing is small and fast. It's lightly armed with just a pair of turrets that have a high rate of fire, decent tracking, and short range. That sounds like blasters to me. Along with the design, it's almost certainly going to be Gallente.

I don't know. I might finally be able to bring large holds of slaves from amarr to minmatar for the republic to free. For some reason they don't want slaves.

Technically speaking, (played a bit of PnP Star Wars a long time ago), the falcon is a Freighter, Corellian in design, YT-1300 in designation. That's fairly close to Caldari in origination, as Corellia has a primarily Capitalist social structure, with a great deal of focus on industry and manufacturing.

The Falcon itself is an upgraded retrofit version of the YT-1300 and has a Hyperdrive capable of 1.5x standard speed for a good ship. It's highly maneuverable and has twin turbo-laser turrets, top and bottom, which fire in a 360 degree arc around the ship with an elevation of approximately -5 degrees to 45 degrees. It also has a custom fit turret under the cockpit, which I'm sure many are familiar with, as added defense.

Good shields provide most of the defense against incoming fire, along with a higher than average maneuverability. It's agility is beyond what most would expect of a ship of this class, and is the result of many retrofit parts that have been added over the years. Beyond that, there is very little special about the Millenium Falcon, save that it is still running after all this time.

I'd personally go with Caldari with regard to the original design, and consideration for it having been passed around through Pirate Factions in one fashion or another, then having ended up in Minmatar hands after all.

Confirming The Millennium Falcon for being a Sansha's nation ship retrofitted by Minmatar.

The scale differences are significant between Star Wars and EVE - The Falcon for example has vast shields for a ship of its size, because someone shoehorned the shield generators from a Nebulon-B frigate into it...
It must have at least eight rig slots (rigging really ought to have a reliability factor, it might be less of a no-brainer if you randomly warp scrambled yourself because cross-wiring your shield generators through your engines occasionally deleted your navigation computer's boot.ini Roll)
It also has seriously upsized guns, two quad laser cannon in place of the normal dorsal and ventral turrets and the concussion missile launchers (which are mounted where no 'slot' exists).

The Kessel run, AFAIK, is a question of how close to the black hole cluster of The Maw you dare go - and is not a question of actors getting it wrong. Lucas might have got it wrong, but if so he retcon'd it pretty quickly; and as he's the originator of the Star Wars universe...

Easily the most researched, thought out answer so far.
You both win and fail at the same time.

You got me thinking about the pirate issue though....

It'd be a pirate faction battle cruiser. Probably angel cause it's got good shields and speed. Some people, when referring to the ship in a conversation with the pilot, have mentioned that it would be brave to pilot said ship.

Fast industrial with a mighty 1 turret slot! Cargo hold big enough to hold up to 8 exotic dancers!

5% bonus to warp velocity per Minmatar Industiral Skill Level
5% Reduction in time taken to work weather this is a cave or not per Minmatar Industiral Skill Level

The thing is frig sized by eve standards anyway. Save you money and buy a wreathe. It was called the "Correllian Corvette" in the old X-wing/Tie Fighter games iirc, so a first hand version would probably be more of a luxury shuttle.

This is how it was explained in one of the novels (read it many years ago, so I don't remember the name). Basically doing it in only 12 parsecs was unheard of because the route took you dangerously close to a black hole or something. Though I think it's fairly safe to say they simply spouted some sci-fi sounding stuff in the movie and later came up with a way to explain it once they realized they were using the wrong unit of measurement.

Well CCP did a good job coming up with the Rifter/X-Wing in a non copyright infringing way.

Lets have a 'Fillenium Malken - Light freighter' in the next expansion CCP.
