It won't ruin it completely but it's still raising inflation which CCP doesn't want. Now state again your reason why "NPCs have too many EHP!"?

It makes PVE tedious. From a game design perspective they should reduce NPC EHP.


So basically now you're just complaining that you don't like PVE because it takes too long correct?
Your fix is to lower EHP and lower NPC bounties.
If you were ratting you would just have to warp around more which makes it much more tedious then having to shoot them a few extra times.
If you were mission running then you would be able to complete them much quicker leading to the inflation problem again.

NPCs have very poor EHP. That I, a relatively new toon, can run L4s in a 1400mm arty Tornado with pretty bad support skills is proof of this. I can kill an NPC Machariel in a few salvos. Try that with a player Machariel. Or for that matter, a player battlecruiser. Roll

That being said, I am all in favor of less NPCs per mission, but instead having to fight maybe five very skilled NPCs per room.

This hits the nail on the head for this topic.

The OP has made no attempt to back up his claims that EHP on NPC's are too high, but then admits that he wants to roll through NPC's quicker so he can get back to PVP.

The answer to that is to make PVE like PVP. Give them a realistic tank and treat them exactly the same as a players ship.

As a side note, constantly repeating the same thing over and over is not the best way to convey a point. All that does is make people more likely to think that you are trolling.

PS: There is an inflation problem. That why things are more expensive now than they were a few years ago. I should also note that treating them like a players ship means they need to work out a buff for NPCs.

If you're saying that is where my evidence for inflation is from, you are wrong. CCP themselves said inflation was a problem. Furthermore inflation is not caused by lack of minerals, i don't know where you got that from. It is from too much isk being injected into the game which happens if your change happens.

I'm sure if they were worried about all that they would have nerfed FW, Incursions, etc. don't worry the isk wont flow fast enough to mess up the EVE market. the link was to encourage you to take your inflation worries elsewhere. NPCs need to lose some EHP and it wont hurt the market.

They added more NPC in the sites which effectively require you to shoot more EHP worth of ship before you can get your reward. Basicly, it means CCP wanted the sites to take more time to complete.

Nope, my sentence parses perfectly in English.

With FW, they changed it to require killing some NPCs instead of no NPCs, meaning that you have to kill more EHP worth of NPCs to complete the site.

With Incursions, you are now required to kill all of the NPCs instead of only some of the NPCs, meaning that you have to kill more EHP worth of NPCs to complete the site.

Both have very similar effects to increasing the EHP of the individual ships, in that it makes the sites take longer (or, in the case of FW, require the fitting of guns) to complete.
