Opinions? I've yet to find something that's effective.

Drones.

There is a reason one of the standards of measure for an interceptor fit is how well it can deal with a flight of warriors.

IIRC rapid light launchers with precision ammo from a caracal should do okay as well. The bellicose could probably do decently enough with them as well, though with the TP bonus it might actually do better with fury than precision, and with enough bandwidth for a full wing of drones and enough drone bay for 3 spares it'd certainly field more warriors than the caracal could.

All things considered though if you can forgo anything involving cruisers a good nos/neut dragoon would probably be a better choice strictly from the perspective of killing interceptors. Killing other things, and surviving, aren't necessarily included when flying a destroyer.

What I've found is that the ceptors can easily kill the drones and stay outside of med neut range as their help arrives. A Bship neut can usually do the trick, but at the cost of needing a bship rather than a cruiser

Anything with medium or small autocannons seems to work as well. Or maybe i'm just bad.

Inties can 'easily' kill the drones if they are setup to do that. Which means they have made other sacrifices. You would probably get more explicit help though if you further defined the specific situation... There isn't a 'simple' answer for most of these sorts of questions - after all that is part of what makes EVE PvP so interesting.

They kill drones and stay outside of neut and web range well enough without much real sacrifices. The question is what sacrifices you're willing to make. Dual 180mms with 3 tracking scripted TCs can butcher them so fast they won't know what happened. But then you're left with lol armor tank.

A proper ceptor will easily pew drones.

Probably a AC rupture if he is orbiting at 20 and a dual web thorax if he is in close.

A drone bonused cruiser will chew them up, especially with a damage amp in the lows

It depends on the range.

Assuming you fit 2 TE in the fits for comparison then weirdly it's the shield thorax with heavy neutrons and null (all tested without drones obviously) in most cases. Lasers have terrible tracking, even moreso with Scorch and ACs are too far in falloff with normal ammo and have tracking issues with Barrage up till 30km, Heavy neutrons with 2 TE and null outperform the rest by a vast amount when dealing with an orbiting Stiletto at up till 30km, from 30 to 40km ACs take over with barrage.
