Greetings All,

I have been working on a log detailing some casual exploration over the last couple months. The inclusion of Site ID, Group, Strength paired with date and location are available for analysis.

Much of scanning including the use of deep space scanner probes to group sites is well documented on the web. This site includes some of that information, but the main purpose is to serve as a source of data for future studies.

Exploration Test

Feedback welcome

I've come across a few sites not on the "Swift and Bitter" site (mostly in nullsec), although I use that to determine what is available.

I find this interesting because I'm curious about the quantity and distribution of grav sites. So raw numbers like this are helpful.

You better do analysis on loot drops and spawn difficulty for sites. I know many of explo sites are borked when it comes to difficulty/reward, and that's including all sites ,not only plexes. I would do it myself if I knew CPP would be willing to move a finger

Thanks for the interest S&I.

Pisov, thanks for the link. I had not seen that site before but was aware of the availability of that information. As Huttan pointed out, I think there is more work to be done on the matter of frequency and distribution. An analysis on loot value and risk might also be worthwhile; does system security level have an effect on the payout for identical sites?

I am in the process of determining an effective scope of work that I can manage, i.e. frequency of scans per system versus number of systems scanned. I will update this thread when I finalize the details of the study but I'll be checking back to consider any other thoughts offered here until then.
