Wouldn't that be CCP paying you to play, not the other way around?

No.

No what? Tell me how plexing accounts is you spending money subbing.

they'll tell you: time is money.

well, if they're so worried about what they do with their time, maybe gaming isn't the best activity for them.

Time is not money. If it was noone would work. This is in regards to someone saying "if I can't plex my account I'm taking my money elsewhere".

Someone gave CCP money for that PLEX to even be there. Jeez.........

edit: The money from purchased PLEXes is in a sort of 'escrow', much like Gift Certificates from a store. The money cannot be touched until the certificate (PLEX) is actually used, or reaches a pre-agreed expiration date.

It is to CCP's advantage to have these things used, and off the Market so they get their 20.

I understand how plexing works, that's not what I'm asking.

I never said that it was.
CCP gets paid when I plex my account.

sure i am, i'm not going to keep my accounts active if they generate 0 isk.
why would you? the entire purpose for most people to have multiple accounts is to generate isk, if those accounts aren't generating isk then there's no point having them.

PvP doesn't remove ISK, it just moves ISK to someone else.

I lied :o

That's because you stuck your nose into someone else's conversation. The point isn't ccp getting paid "somehow" the point I was making was Dave wasn't the one paying CCP his money if he plexed his accounts (unless he spent money on plex and used the plex item as a method of adding gametime, then that's different).

This guy is right.

In the most recent patch, all destroyed ships drop 100% loot, up from the approximate 50% it was before.

Even the ship itself can be rebuilt (for free), if you have the skill.

My apologies, you did buy plex through the website then. Nevermind, thought you meant you used ingame isk to purchase your plex. My mistake. Carry on.

You did, I was talking to Dave who I mistakenly thought was claiming he was taking his money elsewhere since he couldn't plex his account. I thought it was ironic that using ingame funds to purchase gametime was "his" money to begin with (CCP doesn't allow for cash sales to purchase isk from players, only CCP themselves).

He corrected in saying he buys his plex with his money so it's a moot point.

You know what, I'm editing my original post.

James, please refrain from expelling your asshattery to me, I find it idiotic and lame, and as such I do realize this is a public forum, and you can't help leeching, but you are an insipid troll and contribute nothing other than acting like a 12 yr old "just because".

In short, grow the **** up.
