"Mother Earth Is Waiting"

Whispers from the forest,
A chorus of soothing sounds,
vibrations felt from feet to heart,
that healing Mother Earth must start!

Last night, the lights went out,
all over the world
for Earth Hour,
What a start to devour.

Mother Earth is patiently waiting,
as each day goes by,
we must remember to conserve,
this is what Mother Earth does deserve!

She has housed us,
Fed us, warmed us,
Quenched us, kept us on track,
Now it's time to give back!

There is so much more to do,
Individually it must start,
then locally spread your word,
so globally we will be heard!

It is Earth Day in a few weeks,
Let's do something remarkable,
so that the world will begin to save,
Our Mother Earth from her early grave!



I love this planet,
We are so forturnate,
Why are we so oblivious,
to all of this destructiveness?
