No theme parks, just pablum please!

I spit on you *spit* *spit* *spit* lol

Come on though... thought provoking? Get out of here, hipster... Blink before I even think about that kind of crap the movie should be realistic

Mayhaps the wrong word there. You demand realism from comic based films ? Wow.

As I once said... Nolan doesn't make Batman movies. Nolan makes Nolan movies, and puts Batman names on them. And this is from someone who liked TDK.

but TDKR had too many flaws for me to thoroughly enjoy. The big one being Miranda's reveal... with no build up, no foreshadowing, just all of a sudden its there. And Bane, who in the comics is a mastermind of the highest order, is once again reduced to a flunky.

The breaking of Batman likewise is reduced. Just one thump, and that's it? Nolan took one of the iconic images in comics and reduced it to a 2 second afterthought. Then Batman is dropped in a hole... and someone punches his spine better? Even if it were "vertibrae out of place" I'm pretty damn well sure MEDICINE DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY.

And the final fight. Batman got owned the first time, comes back, fights the exact same way, and wins? Lolwhat?

not to mention the rediculousness of the ending. No one is going to recognize a billionaire out in public with no disguise? And "Robin." Yeah, he got all of Batman's toys... but none of his training. And can't get that training because Batman killed everyone in the LoS. I give him a week.

I expect realism from a dark and supposedly gritty re-hashing of the Batman franchise, and I hope I'm not the only one who sees Batman as possibly the most realistic comic book super hero from the get-go

The word realism is anathema to the comic book ethos.

What you want is believability.

Nice to see there's more people that were getting the same reactions i was getting, my wife was asking me what was wrong several times during the movie when i'd make a sour face or a disbelieving face.

I laughed out loud about him fighting bane with no change in strategy, i yelled in anger when miranda died so horribly on screen, such horrible acting.

but yeah, the vertebrae out of place.... RIIIIIIGHT

I also believe that Batman is one of the most realistic heroes imagined, in that he's just an eccentric millionaire who's a bit of a sociopath and has lots of money for his own alien technology type gadgets, but he is STILL a man and can easily be hurt or killed, which to me is what makes him so awesome that he risks his life like he does regardless of all his high-tech advantages.

if this really is the last of the movies, which i'm still not convinced it is, then i am surely disappointed.

That's fair enough I suppose
