Hi all, im a new/returning player and i started back playing about a week or so ago. I started training things to help me with my mine/indy/hauling but i want to switch it up and start pvp'n. Thing is i dont know if i should start fresh with a new character or just keep with this one, like a noob i've used both remaps trying to decide which direction to go and now im stuck with more mem/int then perc/will. What to start training first? Id imagine ill start with a rifter and work from there to a ruppy or stabber. what are some basic skills to have in general for pvp?
thats all for now.
thanks in advance for your advice!

Never restart, unless you hate your name (you can PLEX to resculpt your body now too, but changing your looks is free). You just waste time training some of the same skills again.

Like the man said, never restart. It's not like other games where that might be viable. Just add to what you have...

If you start PVPing with frigates, even the longer associated train times are on the order of a week or maybe two, so a bad map won't hurt you that much.

Skills would be: Racial frigate, small gun (race type), all gunnery skills not associated with a specific gun type (sharpshooting, weapon upgrades, etc), core fitting skills (electronics, hull upgrades, engineering, etc), everything in navigation except maybe warp drive operation, propulsion jamming. Throw in any skill required to use a module you think is neat and want to try out.
